It's fascinating the difference in pricing when it comes to beauty treatments in the US versus other countries. I went to a hair salon in Korea last year and had a Shiseido conditioning treatment, a Magic Straight Perm, a haircut with like four different scissors, bought a shampoo and not to mention that I had my hair washed at least five times; I ended up paying $130.
You're lucky. Lived in South Korea for 2 years and salons ranged anywhere from $150 to $300 and they typically botched my hair every time. These were quality salons with good reviews. When I lived in Japan, my hair was completely fried after coloring my hair three times within a year. (My colorist was topnotch, btw.) I learned later from an Aveda colorist that the formulas made for the east have double or triple the peroxide load compared to western countries to compensate for darker colors and thicker textures. This is also why at-home box color is not good for fine/med hair. The developer is very aggressive in order to work for the most resistant gray and the coarsest textures. Thanks to that colorist, I color my own hair at a fraction of the cost using products sold at Sally's Beauty Supply.

The lash extensions look okay but not my favorite! Everything else looks great. I live in Texas so here’s the prices in my experience: lash extensions range from 80-150 depending on the style. Nails are around 50$ for acrylic and charge more for length or design. Hair is about 350$ for highlights/color and a haircut depending on the salon is around 25-100 😃 (all prices not including tip)

I was paying $80 when they first came out so not so bad. As they got popular, I noticed it's VERY expensive everywhere in the US for something that falls out and constantly needs fills. They now cost more than getting your hair done because that doesn't need done as often as lash fills
I absolutely enjoy seeing all of the things you do during your travels! It very interesting to see how things differ or are the same as in the US. It seems as though you've had such a wonderful trip back to see your family!! I'm just so happy for you!! I do hope your health hasn't been too poor. Love that you talk about cultural differences, as well as the differences in prices! I’m in Southern California, around Orange County. I pay about $75ish+tip for hard gel with no design. $400ish for haircut and balayage, depending on the experience of the stylist and salon. I get Dysport in my masseters for migraines (fellow sufferer!) about 20 minutes away for about $8-10 a unit.
i missed this upload but wow i loved seeing all these treatments & services!!! i’m an esthetician in the US so it’s wild to see these prices for such popular services here that are so much cheaper ❤
This was SO good!! I appreciate all the time it took for you to edit this (22 hrs!!) and am in awe of your vlogging ability!! Your nails are so freaking gorgeous - that white chrome is incredible. I live in Central FL and Botox is $10-$12 per unit - I went for a consult at one of the better places close to me but have yet to get it done. Although I just turned 60 and feel I could use it, hubby insists I don't need it and believes it's a waste. God love him, I hope he stays blind (kidding!) as long as I'm alive!!
Hi Taylor!! This was a great video!! Your hair turned out gorgeous!! I hope the Daith piercings help with your migraines. I suffer from migraines, and I've always wondered if that is helpful. Please, give us an update. Everything looks beautiful in you!! Take care. ❤ Xx
When you said you have been traveling and working remote for a year and a half made me realize the first time I saw a video of yours I was 15 and I’ll be 24 this year, time passes by so fast! Thank you for always staying consistent and amazing how far you have come compared to when I first found your channel!
I love this series! I hope the piercing helps with the migraine pain. So interesting to see the price differences in different places. Please keep making these, my fave so far!
Interesting video! Taylor, I’ve noticed that when you have text on the screen for a vlog (e.g., a restaurant you’re talking about in the voiceover) that I haven’t had the time to fully read the text on the screen, so I end up having to pause the video quite a few times. Maybe I’m a slow reader, but can you add more time to read the text on the screen before going to the next clip? Thank you! Hope you’re enjoying yourself wherever you are in the world. ❤
I have chronic migraines and I've had the piercing done on both ears, unfortunately they didn't work for me but every person is different. I get botox done for my migraines and it's been a life changer. I don't get as many and the intensity isn't as severe either. Hopefully you get some relief for your situation. ❤
Here in Romania for instance the nails are between 20-30 euro, but keeping in mind that the net average salary is around 800 euro( there are, of course, persons with perhaps 300 - 400 euro/ month net income).
Hi Taylor! Loved this video, super informative. I’m in LA, I pay about $500 per syringe of filler and $10 per unit of tox. My lashes are $75 / fill every 2 or 3 weeks so not superr pricey. Nails lately have been on the pricier end tho, my last set was a gel-x fill and it was $150 for the design, but I usually pay about $90 not including pedicure or tip.
10:36 - The salon I used to go to was an all-in-one; I'd go and get my brows/hair dyed and cut then get my nails done if I was going to an event. My hairdresser left that salon and quit hairdressing. I'm currently trying to hunt down someone to cut my curly hair and most salons can't here or outright refuse. I've been cutting my own for awhile now and I'm decent at it. Last time it was like $120CAD to just get my hair cut. I am getting low lights put in sometime this month though; I usually chop it off around mid summer but I might do bangs instead.
I loved your nails! Price comparisons were very interesting. Other than nails I've never had anything done. Also, that was so many years ago, in a different state, that prices wouldn't be accurate anymore. But years ago it was $25-$35 in Palm Beach, FL.
I've had small bumps two weeks after having my lips done before. I have Restalyne Kiss but the woman who did mine told me after a couple weeks to gently massage and lightly scratch (not hard) the bump and it will dissipate. It worked perfectly and I've had no issues with my filler over the last couple years. I think it's some of the molecules/filler that need to be spread out to properly set in. Might be worth trying if you notice your bump is still there!
A Small town in southern Oklahoma. Lip flip $80 filler $650, nails for dip $40-50 depending on artwork. Lashes full set $150-200 fills are $70-85 not sure about Botox. I think around $10-20 per unit
Awesome video! I would love to see you do this in other places. My salon does charge for a blow dry, and I am in Massachusetts. I see this often in high-end salons. Your hair came out so good!
I am lebanese. I now live in Paris. I truly recommend Lebanon for beauty treatments. They mostly have the all in one salon, and they are much cheaper (than Paris, I don't know for other countries). Also, I think you would enjoy the country immensely!
I live close to the border so I like going to Mexico for beauty stuff. I usually pay about 10 bucks for a haircut sometimes less than that. I have had it dyed, cut and styled for about 25-30. I have done lash extensions for about 40-50 bucks.
This was such a fun and interesting video! I hope I can get abroad sometime soon just to be abroad, but also to get more piercings lol. When I got my earlobes pierced in Minneapolis years ago it was like $250. I got my tragus pierced in Spain and I think it was like 20 euro. And they used the numbing cream so I didn't feel a thing. I'd definitely be interested in seeing this video style again in another city!
I agree with you about Chicago! I went with a friend while on holiday. She had botox injected to her forehead, 11 and just above her eyebrow arch (appear lifted). $850. I haven't had any botox or filler so I dont know the cost in NorCal.
I got my daith pierced like a month ago and it’s already almost healed. One of the easiest piercings I’ve had! Also, mine was waaay faster and I truly did not feel much. I highly suggest hoops too.
My ear is always burnt too bc of my heating pad. I also have terrible pain daily since my cervical fusion was done years ago. I'd love a video on an update on your health and any suggestions you have for neck pain.
Brevard county Florida/space center/cocoa beach area. Lashes are 180-300 is higher end of fills. Hair like all over color cut blow out would be 200 ish at a decent salon. Filler is 500/600 per syringe. Nails prob 55 for removal then dip or whatever overlay and gel polish. All plus tip besides filler.
I can tell you as an American living abroad that the correlation between price and interest is real. I’m from Chicago and just went home recently…. Lashes aren’t really our bag. Americans are into a more natural look generally. But I live in the UK and EVERYONE gets their spray tan/lashes/lips/brows done. It’s way cheaper here because it’s more lucrative for sure. Nails are so cheap here, back home it’s like a $100 experience and here I can get a full acrylic set for like £20.
I live in Kansas and tox here is harder to come by (smaller area) so it’s about $12/unit. You can find a gel mani for $30 but when I get gel X with crazy fun designs it can be closer to $60. My mom is a hair stylist so I never have to pay for my hair 😂
Hi Taylor good morning happy Monday morning and I hope you having amazing weekend and I loved your travel vlogs and this was amazing video I enjoy your channel
Not sure if you've ever considered it before, but Toronto or Montreal! Both amazing cities to live in, especially in the summer/fall. Both have so much to do in the summer, so much good food, great cafes.
I was worried about the lash experience. I would hope I would have walked out seeing the drama, not to mention how sterile is it with cats and smoking. OMG I once had a dentist that started fighting with the dental assistant & I was in the middle!! When they started screaming and throwing things, I got up and left before my root canal was complete !! Never again !!
Ok, I don't know you, but I need more detail! Did you go back in to get stuff finished? How much had they gotten done? I'm just imagining the dentist mid-drilling and you walking out still needing a temporary crown or something! Yikes!
Cats are clean and therapy .. the purrrfect zen unless u have allergies or hate them but I on the other hand would luv one purring on my belly while getting my lashes done 🥰…,, I have 5 meowzzzzz 😻
@@LindseyCuddeback Hey Lindsey, Hope I didn't scare you off dentists, unless you are already. The dentist had frozen the area and had started drilling, when they started to argue. You can't imagine my face and what I was thinking!! Thankfully, she had put down the drill, when they started throwing things, at each other!! I sat up, grabbed my purse and ran for the nearest bus stop. After I walked out, the freezing was still going strong and when I got to work, everyone was laughing when I tried to tell them. The dentist kept calling me and sent me a bill for the full procedure. I went to an emergency clinic and they laughed too, but at least put in a temp filling. Of course, I have a new dentist, never paid that bill and finally got my root canal. This was years ago, but is etched into my mind, PTSD!!
@@mrst7831 if they were throwing things and you were in the chair; that dentist is VERY LUCKY you weren't injured by an instrument or anything else that was flying through the room! You could have easily sued and won. I honestly think with that situation the dentist could have faced professional penalties also. I used to be a dental hygienist, in a past life. Lol Seriously though, that is beyond unprofessional and I can't believe the dentist and the assistant acted that way in front of a patient. Have I seen dentists that were complete a**holes... definitely but none that I ever saw devolve to that level. Those kind of things just usually happen when and where the patients can't see because otherwise dentists wouldn't have any clients. I always tell people to watch staff turnover when they go to the dentist. If there's always someone new in the office, then chances are the dentist isn't a good person to work with (or could be worse but that's the minimum) but they don't show it to their patients because they're usually smart enough to see the benefits of keeping it from them. That is one scary story and definitely worse than what Taylor went through only because I'm going to guess you were at the dentist's office, their place of business not in their house that they just happened to be doing dental work out of. I'm very glad you were able to get through that trauma successfully and have another dentist take care of the tooth that they'd started working on. Take care and big hugs, k
@@kfemme68 Thanks for your concern Kara. I'll never forget that morning. When I arrived at work way earlier than expected, everyone looked startled because I was still wearing the blue bib they string around your neck. The tooth was drilled open and I was still frozen, but I didn't have any pain, so I went to a dentist at a hospital next to my office. In Canada, health care is covered, even dental, in hospital. The former dentist office called me a few times to "finish" the root canal !! haha Thank God for answering machines.
I have been looking for someone to do a series on med spa and beauty procedures in other countries 🙏 please do more. So interesting. I would love to Iceland or Sweden
I live in LA, just yesterday I got Dysport on my upper face (forehead, crow’s feet and 11s) paid $648 which is about 43 units of Botox at $15/per unit. I believe one syringe of filler averages between $750-$900
Love the comparisons, my one recommendation is that the typing info is left up for just a split second longer. I wonder if you would do research/videos on other types of procedures too! Living through your travels!
Wow Taylor, you sure are doing a wonderful experiment/video and you are one rare gem 💎 keep up the great work! I don’t do these types of services but I watched anyways and am so impressed with your content!
Hi Taylor! I live in Austria i've researched some prices. Botox and lip filler here are between € 270 - € 350. lash extentions are € 120 and piercings are € 43.
Just had my hair done, cut, color (with Olaplex) & blow dry: $97.50 including tip! I'm in Bucksport, Maine. Moving here from NY was the best decision I have ever made! Hope you are having a wonderful time! Many blessings!💖💖💖
I live in New Hampshire and I work in dermatology and the place that I work at is actually very expensive for Botox. It’s like $17 a unit. Filler is I would say on the normal end of like 450 to like 1400. Lash extensions is absolutely unreasonable up here it’s like 300+ dollars to get a full set and then like 120 for the fill every three weeks. I found one place in Massachusetts. That is an amazing salon and they do a new set for 160 and the fill for $80. But I’m not able to make it down there consistently enough to keep lashes on
In Boston, full volume lash set at a Russian salon is $350 and $150 for fill every 3 - 4 weeks (not including tip). My lashes are so short and sparse my whole beauty routine budget is saves just for lashes!!
Your lash experience is so funny!! They look amazing! Your lip filler looks SO GOOD as well. Love the vertical height and Russian technique. So much cuter than the protrusion duck lip style that everyone had 5-6 years ago (including myself lol).
You have every right to be honest about where you went about your lash extensions. Sounds like it wasn't a great experience and I would be relieved if I was looking to get extensions and found your very honest review. I understand you're trying not to interfere with someone's business but other customers also have a right to know what to expect when going to her
I had daith piercings in both of my ears and haven't had migraines or vertigo since. Has also helped my motion sickness. Hopefully these will help you!
I've never heard that it can help Vertigo or motion sickness! I've had vertigo for a couple years and seems to be getting more frequent so will look into this, thanks so much
Im in Australia, piercings are around $70, nails $50+, hair $300 for a full colour and cut if not more, botox is min $650 for lips, lashes are and $100-$150. Was a great vlog btw 😊
Thank you so much for sharing the price points if we consider getting these kinds of procedures! I live in the top half of Cali in the US. Apologies if you've already covered laser hair removal stuff but if you are willing and become interested to include in a future video at some point, no rush, I would appreciate that! I think a lot of us viewers would? I heard certain machines are better than others. Specifically I'd like to get it under my chin in as few sessions as possible, I've had thicker course hair strands start growing in high school and has increased to quite a few since and its a medium to dark brown there with fair skin. I have to pluck every couple days or more. What little research I've done it's pretty vast and hard to understand what to trust.
What a clever video idea!! Ah, the daith! I got my daith pierced about 6 weeks ago for migraines & also they are really cool looking. I thought the pressure from the piercing was sooo incredible. Felt like I had someone pushing down on my head for 60 seconds when she pierced & tightened it. Otherwise, it has been very easy to deal with in terms of sleeping/aftercare. Have yet to notice any major effect on migraines though. Piercing in US cost me $55, jewelry was damn expensive (but I will never take it out) so in total was $500 bucks :o
Boulder, CO. Highlights and Hair cut are about $300-350 minus tip, and gel manis are about $100 minus tip. I have not yet worked up the courage to get botox or filler so I can't comment but usually I see about $20/unit for Botox and $100-$200 per syringe of Juvaderm at most places here.
I don't know about botox or daith piercing, but nails, hair and lash extensions here in Argentina are even cheaper than in Jordan. 20 USD for color, blowout and haircut, nails are around 10 USD and lashes around the same. Of course, our salaries are considerably lower 😢 (now more than ever).
Who agrees that whenever Taylor post's a vlog it's makes are day better and better 💫❤️

Tara Mejia: Look up Dr Eric Berg migraines and you'll find the videos. Also read the comments to those videos.
Taylor, your amount of preparation and thought that goes into your videos does not go unnoticed. Keep up the good work! ❤
i missed this upload but wow i loved seeing all these treatments & services!!! i’m an esthetician in the US so it’s wild to see these prices for such popular services here that are so much cheaper ❤
What a great video concept! 🤩
I love Sarah. It feels like you are with family when you are with her! I love how happy you are with your fam in Jordan. Cheers!
I love how thorough you are with your reviews!
I’m so glad your channel is coming back in my feed again!
Lebanon has always been on my list!!
Super interesting. In Houston. Botox 14-15 unit. Lip filler 700-900 per syringe. Ear piercing like you had in downtown is 150.
My ear is always burnt too bc of my heating pad. I also have terrible pain daily since my cervical fusion was done years ago. I'd love a video on an update on your health and any suggestions you have for neck pain.
I live in Arizona I pay $350 for juvederm to my lips on sale and around $8 per unit for Botox.
Really hope you do this style of video again, it was so informative! Your lips look perfect! Also, that hair stylists technique was incredible!
in edinburgh botox is charged by area and i laid £150 for 2 area today and around £170 got lip filler xx
That nail salon is so beautiful!
Great video! I really enjoyed watching all of the treatments!❤
This is such an interesting video. I loved seeing the comparison and hearing of your experiences.
TAYLORRRR I need you to do this video serious in South Korea!! I feel like they are the KING of beauty treatments and cosmetics procedures. 🫶😁
Going there this October and definitely plan on capitalizing on treatments! Would love a video on this as well
I have been looking for someone to do a series on med spa and beauty procedures in other countries 🙏 please do more. So interesting. I would love to Iceland or Sweden
I love in TN botox is around $10 per unit and filler is $600 syringe
I loved every part of this!!!!! Please do more!
Taylor Beauty Pie has that skinny barrel round brush 15mm not on metal but wood for $20.
Love your nails!!!
I live in LA, just yesterday I got Dysport on my upper face (forehead, crow’s feet and 11s) paid $648 which is about 43 units of Botox at $15/per unit.
I believe one syringe of filler averages between $750-$900
This is such a brilliant video and topic! Thank you for all of your top notch content ❤️
I love your relationship with Sarah. Sister from another mister vibes!
I live in Tacoma but get most haircuts etc done in Olympia
I loved this video! I've never had any of these things done to compare here in NJ but can't be far off from NY
This was such an amazing video! I live in LA and I think I don’t even have to comment how much MORE it is here 🤦🏻♀️
Just had my hair done, cut, color (with Olaplex) & blow dry: $97.50 including tip! I'm in Bucksport, Maine. Moving here from NY was the best decision I have ever made! Hope you are having a wonderful time! Many blessings!💖💖💖
Your relationship dynamic with Sarah is so sweet! Has she visited you in the states before?
I live in New Hampshire and I work in dermatology and the place that I work at is actually very expensive for Botox. It’s like $17 a unit. Filler is I would say on the normal end of like 450 to like 1400. Lash extensions is absolutely unreasonable up here it’s like 300+ dollars to get a full set and then like 120 for the fill every three weeks. I found one place in Massachusetts. That is an amazing salon and they do a new set for 160 and the fill for $80. But I’m not able to make it down there consistently enough to keep lashes on
I loved this video!! I am glad not all of them were a "typical" experience. Helps one really see the spectrum that's available.
In Boston, full volume lash set at a Russian salon is $350 and $150 for fill every 3 - 4 weeks (not including tip). My lashes are so short and sparse my whole beauty routine budget is saves just for lashes!!
Great video! My daith has made such a huge difference! Have you noticed any relief? Also, did you go back and get the right side done? 💜💜
Your lash experience is so funny!! They look amazing! Your lip filler looks SO GOOD as well. Love the vertical height and Russian technique. So much cuter than the protrusion duck lip style that everyone had 5-6 years ago (including myself lol).
What gets me is how every single place is so clean and neat 😊
I live outside of Madison WI and my sister from Northbrook IL comes up here for these services. About 20-25% of Chicago prices.
Great video! Unique concept. Hope you’re having a great trip!
I absolutely loved this style of video!!soo interesting 👌
Please update us on the piercing too ☺️
I live in Denmark and had lipfiller. It cost around 300$ for 0,5 ml.
your lips look so pretty and natural.
Love the white chrome on your nails sis! They look wonderful!
Great vlog! Always Taylor! 🥰🤗🌷💗
