I was at the show and would have preferred closing with "The Sound" since the energy--an arena full of people jumping up and down in unison while Adam solos--is a perfect way to end a great performance. (See O2 performance video from 2016 and you'll see what I mean.)
I know what you mean, but to counter, they've closed with The Sound a lot previously, and I like that they're trying something new. Plus, GYAT rips in a way that The Sound doesn't.
