For me a visit to Mapusa Friday Market is a must otherwise my trip to Goa is senseless.And only when one experiences the Friday Market will understand the feeling.
True that. It's an experience in itself. Unfortunately, I was in Goa on a Fri but couldn't go that day. Have been before thou. My trip to Goa is incomplete without a visit here. Btw, I bought some of that black organic jaggery for you. I remembered since I couldn't get you some on my Kholapur trip a few months ago.
There are a few shops inside the main market. I didn't check the name & they all sell at good prices. The shops are facing where the flower market is, on the opposite side. It's in a covered area.

Wht time does everything open in the morning
The market opens by 9 am & by 9.30 everything all shops open.
