Rick, you deserve a lot more views and subscribers!! The content is spot on and you just helped me pay for much less for a larger caret diamond!! Thank you!
Hi Rick! I just wanted to say thank you for all of your informative videos about the diamond industry. You have helped my fiance and I SO much in our search for a diamond for my bespoke engagement ring. It's also been so much fun learning more about the ins-and-outs of diamonds and the diamond industry. My diamond is supposed to arrive from James Allen tomorrow, and I can hardly wait to see it! Many thanks! :)
Ive been watching your educational videos about Diamonds and learnt a lot, but A LOT!!! Now I'm happy with my Emerald Cut, H color and IF... I saw some color DEF but the clarity were not that good for Emerald cuts... I lowered the Color and highing the clarity... setted on a Yellow gold, and looks so good that Im in love everyday, Cant take my eyes off my ring...
@@clintsaines9274 no they don't. I got one with the best characteristics at the lowest price at James Allen. This was a year ago, maybe now it is different
I personally never go below IF clarity and always Excellent cut, and play around color and carat based on purpose. If you are going to set diamond in real gold (yellow), then you can comfortably go down in "color" up to K, and spend the same amount in increasing the Carat, Cut and Clarity, which are much more important parameters in bring the "fire" in them. Most salesmen confuse you color with clarity and make you go to colors D, E, F, which is surely not valuable for the price difference they have, especially if you're going for gold jewelry. Most Indians dislike any other metal other than real gold, so I do not have experience buying any other non-yellow metals like platinum, white gold, etc.
Wow, H can be a K. Crazy. I'll learn a lesson from you! I should've listened this sooner! That's indeed a very shady jeweler that you mentioned. Thank you for warning the consumers!

The email you showed dated 2014, this video you made is 2020. How come?
Jame Allen has the absolute best prices and are GIA certified, recommended.
Rarecarat has better prices on their diamonds.
