Additional note for Universal Crafting Material, spotted by WCC Kai:
When you disenchant cards, you will also be given the Universal crafting material! So this is a great way to use your old pack tickets on old sets to rack up a ton of the universal crafting material all in one go!

This is why I switched to jp. It would be fine if we try to catch up, but at this point, that seems not possible.
However, you do get more packs and daily guaranteed character drops, that's something the jp server still doesnt have.
I don't get why people in chat were upset with the new sets adopting the duel links box system. If anything this is better than how it was since if your going for 1 deck and end up getting cards from other decks once you get those you will have a higher chance to get what you were actually going for due to them being removed from the pool compared to the current way sets work where if you get cards you are not going for and don't care about your odds stay the same as before and you can still always get that card again. The only downside is that people are going to have to get used to resetting the box once they have cleared out what they are going for and that's not even a downside
Edit: Forgot to include this but the only real potential downside is that we might not be able to get multiple RRRs (or others) in a 10 pull depending on how close you are to running out or depending on how many cards per rarity there is, we will have to wait and see I guess
Yeah I actually like this change and it was needed
Because even in duel links it's impossibly difficult to actually get the cards you need it's definitely more pay to play friendly
I remember talking about this setup when the game came out and how it will probably better but can get a whole lot more expensive if your not careful
@@chendror872 yes but zero has its crafting system and with the new universal mats the crafting system just got even better
@@PikachuMC99 the crafting system definitely got better that’s true I’m not saying it’s a bad move to make the gacha like that I’m just saying I’m worried it might be because of how it is in duel links but yea crafting will probably make it more manageable

G Season 1 is so goddamned nostalgic to me. I think this is such a good reason to get back into Zero. Damn that's hype. Vanguards best season.
Honestly, the universal crafting materials are one of the, if not THE best change that has been brought to the game so far. It gives us uses for all those extra clan materials we'll never use and help us focus on those few decks we're hoping to build, in my case being able to finish up Brawlers and craft all the The X copies I'll need over time, as well as a possible third deck if I do go into official tournaments.

Damn, I didn't open packs this month because I'm saving for G next month. Well, it's halfway and soon there will be Clan events, so I guess I'll still keep it until everything is more certain.

6 grs likely means that there is 3 different GRs, 1 for each clan, then you can get up to 2 copies of each before a reset.

I am gonna go back to zero after this I love g and I am very hyped for it when g comes out in global I will definitely play it I stop play zero at set 15 since things were getting the same and not much changes so I got bored
I havnt touch dual link for very long time, but if I'm remember correctly, in duel link, if you buy the whole box, you get every single card in the set, so it's the same for G later? I really hope so... since it would means, there is a set number of packs you need to open.

You do get every card, but not at max copies
For example you could have 6 different GRs in the set. So if you want a playset, you'll still have to pull multiple times for bonus copies.
But going through the box once means you are getting minimum 1 copy of each card in the set
So if i used all my old packs to open the previous banner after the g season comes out can i still getting the universal crafting material? Because i heard someone said that the universal crafting material is only works if we open the G set banner.

After having pulled over 120 packs at 1 point and had 0 RRR I'm happy for the DL gacha... That 120 pull was the main reason I quit.. I put way too much into getting Luqier

Something I just thought of that maybe someone can shed light upon. Do we know if single and common rares have limits or is it just double and up?
it'll be like Duel Links if you're familiar with it every card has a set amount in a box no matter the rarity
That seems kind of op because if you get playsets of all the common and single rare then you will just pull double and RRR every card, right?
@@carstenpetersen1379 Keep in mind, Commons and Rs exist in more quantity than RR and up
So you'll still have to pull a lot to even exhaust the Common and R pull.
And even then, you might just want to reset the box if you get the RRR you want and there are more in the current box
@@carstenpetersen1379 I’m pretty sure they’re distributed the way they would in an actual tcg box so there are enough RRRs and RRs for each pack in the box and a bigger amount of lesser rarity cards to fill the packs.

Personally, there are several things I feel on the info as someone who plays Global.
Pros:
- Universal/All-clan Material: Great stuff. As an F2P, I don't make every single deck and save for clans I like thus my rotting SPs/dupes of decks I don't play can be put to good use.
Questionable:
- Unable to use pre-G era packs. (The questional part is, are we able to use the pre-G packs on the clan gatchas, if so, we could throw a lot of packs into one clan, then break down SP/dupes into All-clan material for the new G stuff)
Awaiting:
- No confirmation if we would get stuff like in-game playmats or able to change bgm.
- Unknown if there would be a higher difficulty Character Fight for GR materials.
so wait theres separate gacha tickets? I heard that right, and our current gacha tickets will be good only up to Legion?
correct but the universal crafting makes saving current gacha worth anyway

The fact that they are starting to take inspiration from duel links makes me wonder: are they going to release a pc version of vanguard zero EN with the introduction of G? (Am I asking too much?)

You can still hoard gems to pull for gears
Or like Dragonstrider said, use them all on the Clan Specific banner and get a lot of universal mats
This makes me want to actually get this game, G was my favorite series of the anime. Played Duel Links a few years ago but fell out of Yugioh so I stopped playing. Still enjoying Vanguard to this day, so maybe I'll pick this game up
If I star playing Zero when the G update, do I need to play old vanguard stories or do I start with G era story?

Why would that be the case?
As much as I don't want it to happen, I feel like there's gonna be a new conversion rate for dupes due to the universal mats. If they're gonna make it so that the universal mats convert 1 to 1 for all types of clan mats (RRR, RR, and R) of your choosing, that means we can get an insane amount of RRR mats. So much so that Hard and Very Hard chara fights won't even matter anymore. That's why I think they'll lower the dupe conversion rate, maybe along the lines of R dupes yielding 5 (previously 20), RR dupes yielding 10 (prev 25), and RRR dupes yielding 15 (prev 30). Though that might mean we're gonna find ourselves lacking in R mats.
That, or if dupes are staying, then it's the conversion rate from universal mats to clan mats that we don't know yet. Maybe converting to 1 RRR mat needs like, 40 uni mats. Don't get me wrong, this is still a good change, but people need to know that it's not gonna be all glitters and rainbows.
Honestly, the pack updates means I think I might just avoid summoning all together till G.
If it doesn't update old packs to use the box system then I guess I'll use all my tickets but save all my crystals. Just gonna play Silver Thorns till then I think.

That’s my big concern about it. Duel links is like that, and from watching friends play it, it makes getting enough of things painful

Crafting is going to become a much much bigger part of the game now, since, I open box, me no get card I want, me open 99 packs finally got card I want, now I have to open 3 more boxes, *cries*

@@dimnik8292 Yes you exchange the Universal mats for the Clan mats of the clan you wanna craft. Meaning you keep your old mats
