    I bought one after a friend showed me how he used his. Ended up buying a second and gifting it to another brother in modular. This module is easily 10x better/more useful than Maths! Congrats and thank you for such a useful module🤘

    Beautiful module! I like how snappy the vca sounds plus the fact I could also just use it as a mixer with normalized output to channel 4

    Hi! Can i use it to input 4 oscillators and use it as VCA with envelopes to control my osc volumes ?

    Great video. I've recently bought this module and I'm having trouble locating a manual for it. Is there one available?

      We don't have a manual. We did the product description and this video instead. Do feel free to reach out to our email with any questions.

    Very cool!
    What is the peak output voltage for each channel?

    • @afterlateraudio9976
      @afterlateraudio9976  9 месяцев назад +1

      It's around +/- 10V

      If that's for all 4 channels, I'm sold! I have some LPGs that need to see a full 10v envelope...@@afterlateraudio9976

    10/10 this should sell like hotcakes. How does the VCA summing internally work in the final mix out of channel 4? will it clip? Should we keep all levels relatively low if we're just coming out of channel 4?

      VCA1 out is sent to VCA2 jack normal. This continues to cascade down to VCA4. So if you plug into VCA2 you will get a mix of just VCA1 & VCA2. If you then plug another cable into VCA 4 you will just get VCA3 and VCA4. Hope that helps.

    I have a pair of System-500 sets, and am planning a third tier for Nerdseq and utilities. This looks like it will fit my needs better than the Maths or Falistri (and seems to be far cheaper) - four ARs means I could use this in poly patches. So the envelopes are AR when using the In jacks and AD when using the Trig jacks, right?

    • @afterlateraudio9976
      @afterlateraudio9976  2 года назад +3

      When using the IN they will behave as ASR as the envelope will stay high as long as the gate is high. When using TRIG they will behave as AD (or AR depending on your preferred naming). Ch1 and Ch4 need to have the switch in the proper position for either IN or TRIG.

    Looks amazing! Just wondering: do the oscillators track v/oct? Awesome module regardless ✌️✌️

    Is this like a double maths?

    • @danielprovder
      @danielprovder 2 года назад +2

      Almost, if math had VCA’s on all channel outs and fully-featured channels two and three.

    Can channels work as envelope followers?

    • @afterlateraudio9976
      @afterlateraudio9976  2 года назад +1

      Yep. Slew limiters can be envelope followers. CH 1&4 need to have their toggle in the IN position and it should work out nicely for all four channels.

    Are the VCAs linear or exponential?

    • @afterlateraudio9976
      @afterlateraudio9976  2 года назад +2

      Linear VCAs. You can use the shape control on the envelope to get exponential for audio.

    • @GeorgeLocke
      @GeorgeLocke 2 года назад +2

      @@afterlateraudio9976 perfect. Two things my rack needs are linear VCAs and some proper function generators.
