Just to note, Hulkenburg's taunt does indeed make it so that some enemies are more likely to single-attack her than AOE attack everybody. So just because enemies do AOE doesn't mean that the taunt is worthless.
So now we have: An Elda (protag), Fairy (Gallica), Clemar (Strohl), Roussainte (Hulkenberg), Ishkia (Neuras), and Eugief (Heismay). Next we need a Nidia, Paripus, and Mustari tribe. After that, we have all tribes as our party. We had a Rhoag teammate before (RIP Grius) i don't know if they gonna add a rhoag teammate again
Quick question. Which line do you prefer? 1) You are on a path in a forest. At the end of that path is a cabin, and inside that cabin is a princess. 2) Time marches on, and the age of a new king draws near.
I have to say “You are on a path in a forest” was repeated far less frequently and at least sometimes it would change up. “Time marches on, and the age of a new king draws near” happening every in-game days is fine when a day is the length of a dungeon, not so much when an in-game day consists of one day-time activity and one night-time activity.
Heismay's Awakening is like a combination of Morgana's (small & cute animal-like being with the Thief class), Makoto's (the villain who sparked his Awakening has no personal connection to him but is a greedy scumbag), and Futaba's (moving past his feelings of guilt and self-hatred so he can help bring the villains to justice). I really love him!
I don't think that's the case. The goborn king has a party of 5 when they fought him, Louis has 4 comrades when they encountered him. I think the maximum number of members in a party could be 5. There's a chance Catherina will be the 5th member Also if we will have one member of each tribes in a party, then Brigitta should have been playable. But she's not
16:56 i can feel evan's excitement tbh. I mean, who wouldn't be excited in different varieties of archetypes that you can unlock through meeting with random people? Its like going treasure hunting tbh
@@theadmiral4157 idk what you are referring to but if you are basically saying that persona is too easy then yes I agree. Making the difficulty harder should actually be harder. If not, then why even have the option? So yeah, this game actually having optional difficulty is great.
From here on out you are likely to encounter mimic treasure chests. But there's an easy way to tell them apart: Gallica's Fae Sight. A chest with a white outline is a normal chest while a chest with a red outline is really a mimic. If you decide to fight the mimics make sure you have light magic (they're weak to that) and the Merchant's money attacks which will make the mimic lose a turn.
I recommend having a party of Swordmaster, Magic Seeker, Gunner, and a Merchant or Knight if you want to have a lineup that focuses on hit rate and crits. As for sustain, i recommend leveling up your Cleric to 20 and inherit its Medica and Samarecarm abilities to one of your allies. You'll find its a great help especially if you don't want to waste a lot of consumables. Be warned tho, you have to unlock the cleric to about two of your party members and level one up to 20 and the other one to 15 so that they'll be able to inherit the said skills. Its a lot of grind i know, but it's worth it
"I was doing the best I could quite frankly IMO". Gets hit by a weakness that could have been gaurded (which cancels out the weakness extra turns) and instead nearly wipes the party. It was turn 1, so very easy to reset time and account for that. Pretty on PAR for Evan forgetting mechanics though and ignoring good advice, so not a false statement...
Just bought a copy for myself too, having watched y'all play this. Definitely can't wait to put Dekaja/Dekunda on someone soon because apparently even level 3 enemies have things like Matarukaja and the enemies spamming mass debuffs is gonna be a fun challenge to puzzle through.
There were multiple parts during this part that took my brain to batman. For instance, my brain finished "There's a storm coming -" with ", Mr. Pixel" and the conversation about what bats are resulted in rata a lata(rat with wings).

Imo, normal mode isn't that bad. You just need to have someone that can remove all the debuffs and increase their existing passives. For instance, healer has a skill that can remove the debuffs in all your allies and the synthesis ability of gunner increases the hit and evasion of all your allies. Gotta be creative to win the fight

18:18 To be fair, we _do_ have anti-discrimination laws; it's just some people don't follow them.

Heismay noctule, one of my favorites

I pretty much expect that we'll have one of every tribe tag along the party eventually. Although Neuras seems like he'll not be a fighter.

No, ali is right, higher difficulties are actually more difficult cuz the difficulties are more akin to smt rather than persona.
It's better than having the ability to one hit kill any enemies using a basic attack tbh

I just Crit my way on them, but that wouldn't give you any turn like the others. Guess it's just the chest's mechanic

I dunno why but Heismay’s voice reminds me of Heavy from TF2 but calmer
"No matter who calls it naive or foolish, i will always use it to save the weak." Another goated line coming from heismay

I always consider the thief archetype as a mixture of Goemon and a mosquito.
Damn, Stroh just stole the show on Heismay's introductory fight.
The awakenings are always so cool! He is a cool bat 🦇😎

I can't place Heismay's accent either, but I would place it a vaguely eastern European.
Heismay's accent is actually Transylvanian/Romanian.
