The kate and maggie easter egg might also be a reference to maggie gyllenhall and katie holmes (diminutive : kate). They play the same role in the nolan movies. And the line functions well with what happened in the movies.
I always wanted to see Prometheus in these games after seeing that bio. He looked like a really fun character to potentially play as in the future too.
It was a missed opportunity for Prometheus to be in Arkham Knight he should've either been the main villain, he should've been a boss instead of that tank battle with Deathstroke or in Arkham Knight there should've been a boss fight where you fight both Deathstroke and prometheus at the same time.

If you watched the Batman: Assault on Arkham movie that was basically a Task Force X film, Black Spider was actually killed in the film. And the film is supposed to be an interquel between Origins and Asylum. Prometheus is very similar to fellow anti-Batman, Wrath, right down to his origin story. The only real differences are in character designs and number of appearances.
The story about "Harold" is pretty different than the animated series.. in that one his name was Earl Cooper, and he got fired from his job of a major motor company because he was a whistleblower for faulty parts on a new model of car. The car manufacturer didn't want him to report them to they hired goons to kill him, but Batman saved him. Afterward, Cooper couldn't get a job because of his reputation as a whistleblower, so Batman hired him. I always thought that was a cool story and a way to tie into how the Batmobile in that universe was designed and repaired.

She’s not ATTENDING an Engagement Party with Maggie, she’s HAVING an Engagement Party with Maggie. In the comics Kate Kane and her were supposed to get married, but due to Anti-LGBTQ+ backlash from parents, the story was forced to be scrapped. So, the Arkham developers put this in there to sort of say “F you” to the homophobic backlash by deliberately supporting Kate Kane’s lesbian marriage she was supposed to have all those years ago in the Comics

My only problem with Arkham origins was the batsuit. It looked too much like Nolanverse batman. And it made no sense to the previous games, having a more armored-looking version in a prequel, same with some of his gadgets, that weren't acquired until later yet he has them right there. I liked the first game especially because it felt like a R-rated version of the animated series, it really fit while establishing a new universe. Because weird/bad writing. The game needs an excuse to have Batman act like a moron so making him be all weird cause of Joker being dead works I guess. The entire joker plot in Arkham Knight is terrible and kinda takes a massive dump on the brilliant end to their conflict in Arkham City.

Arkham Knight has a different writer, the Joker is plot is so nonsensical, if he's really in there then Batman needs to do more than just beat him in a mind game, he's only human 😂😂😂 The Joker story feels so tacked on and just pads the run time of the game. It could be cut out entirely and just focus on Batman taking on Scarecrow and The Arkham Knight and the games main plot would be exactly the same, just no dumb joker plot. In Arkham Knight they even have to say, oh whoops we missed some of the blood, like it's so shoe horned in just so they can have even more joker in a series where he's the main villain three times. There is no hint of Batman becoming Joker in Arkham City at all, he's just sick and going to die, then he gets cured.

The dlc was great but if guys like Prometheus, bane, anarky and black mask were in the dlc like they were rumored to be at various points (and leaked to be in the case of Prometheus and BM) it would've been 100 times as good as it was. Hell, there are even empty spaces in the cases that hold the gear of the season of infamy characters in case they wanted the extra characters...
I was surprised that they didn't mention the Prometheus/Season of infamy DLC story... I'm a massive Prometheus fanboy, so his absence really bummed me out... A common theory to explain why he isn't in it, is that they would have to creature a 100% new character model with his own moves and weapons "just for a DLC" which was too much work so they just used Mad Hatter again.
