I dont think it is a good dive, kass has passive reduce ap damge taken + Q can cut off Nunu's R, while ori is not a good early champ with her combo. The only logic thought of this dive is u expecting your enemy to mess up or u hope ur damge will be enough to kill kass.

It’s much easier to observe someone making a mistake than it is seeing someone making all the correct decisions. It’s easier to go “ha NA failed a dive 2v1 and died” than it is to go “Wow, chovy survived a Nunu gank and dive while pushed up.”

Using the ult was stupid for multiple reasons: -it could be cancelled (which it was) -it needed time to charge (cancelling renders that pointless) -it does magic damage and the enemy has a magic shield (which they used) -the enemy takes even further reduced damage from magic damage. (Which also played a part) TLDR: Chovy would've never survived in the first place if Nunu played correctly. Nunu didn't, and so Chovy lived. Of course Chovy had to play perfectly to survive, but if Nunu played perfectly Chovy would've never had the opportunity regardless of how they played the situation. For someone so confident in a "hard cap" you really didn't pay attention to the details and try to understand why those "calculations" favored auto attacking over ulting. But sure, I can call over the rank 1 Garen if you'd like.
I do things like this in lane with cloth or mantle, but in solo q i get item pinged all game even if i am winning lane unless we lose a teamfight and its suddenly my fault for picking early mantle.

Nope. Nunus would still charge their ult even if it's die-to-die price. Besides if they canceled it, it would be an instant ult. Which you can see this doesn't happene.

Nunu cannot flash with the ball, he would not flash for 1/2 hp Kassadin that will have another dash soon, to hit him with autos or try ulting him. You can cast Kassadin's ultimate from a greater distance and still go through. Go to practice tool and try to use the R, but take the angle from the river, where the wall is thinner. There is small, but significant free space from which you can ult and go through not hugging the wall. Chovy could have gone that way. Not even mentioning that if he did, Nunu would have to pass the minions in an arc to avoid hitting them with the ball.

Watching it live, I didn't see the cancel from Kass' Q (not a champion I've seen a lot since the rework removing the silence on his Q + I'm bad) and just thought Nunu cancelled the ult early to give the kill to his laner. Also, I may be wrong, but I think Quad could get a last auto before Nunu's death, if he kept going, resulting in a 1-for-1 trade. That Kassawin last pick was crazy good anyway.

Its far from being a kass bs moment, buffering abilities through CC is a mechanic in the game that has existed in the game for pretty much its entire lifespan, and interactions like these have been known for a very long time. Its a bit of skill expression that is added to a lot of champs, and gives the game more depth

I'm a Flyquest fan but don't defend Inspired here. He walked away then decided he should go for a Q after tanking another turret shot. He should have either commited for the kill earlier or aborted and not die. Then the real kicker, he burns flash while the turret shot is already in the air. Not getting the kill, sure. Commiting for the kill but a 1 for 1, also fine. But he didn't get the kill, he died, and he burned flash pointlessly. He also played that as bad as possible. Don't get me wrong, Choky played well this dive, but Inspired ran it down all game.
