- On The Road! Yep Back Again! Season 8 is here as we work our way up from the 10th tier of English football right through to the very top in the Premier League.
Following last weeks trip we find ourselves in the 8th Tier (step 4) of Non League at Sittingbourne FC who take on Herne Bay in the Isthmian South East Division

Next up, I recommend Hanwell Town. Play in black and white stripes and nicknamed the Geordies because they were apparently founded by a group of Geordies who were down south

ah my hometown club! think i commented on one of your first otr’s suggesting you go and watch and low and behold, many many years later the series is still going and you made it! fun fact that you’ll appreciate: the sittingbourne no.2 won every individual award last season after scoring 20-odd goals from right back!

Best ground in the entire country for me is in the 7th tier. Lewes FC. I highly recommend you visit. Another red and black team like Sittingbourne and my team the mighty Bricks!

I've always loved these OTR videos and i think I've been watching for the last 8 years since the start. Watched all 3 episodes this year and will continue to do so but I have to be honest and say I preferred the old format. I liked the randomness of not knowing where you were going this week. You'd do the prem and tier 10 and everywhere in between all in the same season so it was great seeing which league it was gonna be that week rather than hoping for a win just to see a new league. I understand if IRL commitments make it harder to do the old format but i just want to give some constructive criticism. I watched to the end (you said to comment if you did haha), and its a class act to include that gofundme link in the description. Keep up the good work Smiv!

Even though you have done them before you could always go back to Hashtag United. There at a totally different stadium now to when you went there 4-5 years ago. You could also do Horsham who are in the same league

Recommendations for you games wise is the Isthmian Premier Division, I'd recommend on 3 grounds to visit. Folkestone Invicta's Cheriton Road do cracking food and a great ground to visit too. Lewes Dripping Pan and Hastings United's Pilot Field are both great grounds to visit. Recommended. 👍

Youve got to get yourself down to Gosport Boro. At time of writing, top of Southern Premier South and games at home have been very entertaining! The pulled beef dirty fries are top notch too.

How about Margate? Nice trip to the seaside - of course I'd like you to come up north - Bradford Park Avenue? Macclesfield? FC United? Marine? Lots of interesting options in the Northern Premier - however I get that it's a pricy with the cost of petrol. Perhaps a trip to South Shields when you hit tier 6? Managed by none other than Sunderland and Boro legend Julio Arca.

Definitely head to Merthyr Town for this next round, Smiv. I think they're at the right level. Worth it for their sausage, chips, and curry sauce in a cob. You could get some proper traction on the socials by getting in touch with Jonny Owen too. Great video again!
