This looks excellent!! For how popular Yellowfang is, I don’t se that many maps revolving around her. Definitely one of my favourites in terms of concept and execution!
Yellowfang loved her son during it all, even knowing what he did. She knew what he did, but still loved him. It took a lot of her strength to claw his eyes, that was her son. Her baby, then she killed her son. Her kit, her son. A part of her.

I appreciate the artists who really leaned in to Yellowfang's and Brokenstar's snub-nosed faces! It gives them such a unique look among the other characters

he isnt, but i totally see why you might think that, my interpretation of him is that he is an orange tabby with a light colored chest, instead of drawing a bunch of dark stripes on him i simply have one dark stripe on his back with some stripes on his flank and more on his tail, and then whiter areas on his chest.

That part actually tugged on my heartstrings a bit, not gonna lie.
I can relate. I was crying almost every time I saw Yellowfang tho lol. After her super edition and the prophecies begin her name got me in tears 😭
