If Justin committed to making the whole band, I'd buy every one of them. Showbiz was a big part of my childhood. My favorite character was Mitzi Mozzarella, the cheerleading mouse.
The reason Showbiz Pizza doesn’t exist anymore is because they bought out Chuck E. Cheese and, when they did that, they wanted to grow the Showbiz Pizza brand but the Rock-afire Explosion was important to that brand and Showbiz Pizza didn’t own the rights to those characters (they were owned by the animatronic company) whereas they did own the Chuck E. Cheese characters so, instead, they decided to grow the Chuck E. Cheese brand and Showbiz Pizza was phased out
cei creative engineering inc. owned the rockafire explosion and CEC tried to force Arron fecther to hand over the copyright of the rockafire to them but Arron refused, therefore, CEC used the characters they all ready owned and the rockafire were phased out of all CEC’s restaurants as of 1992. Also, showbiz restaurants got rebranded as CEC and showbiz name was still being used as showbiz pizzatime inc. from 1984 - 1998 then after 98’ the showbiz name was completely retired as it was changed from showbiz pizza time inc, to CEC entertainment
Holy crap, that's awesome! When I was a kid my mom and I would go to ShowBiz Pizza once a week on every payday. We would go up to her work to pick up her paycheck and then it was pizza time. I miss those days.

This is beautiful. I never went to Showbiz, but I saw him in commercials all the time. I had Razz-ma-Tazz by me as a kid, so that was the one I went to a couple times.

Wild! Where I grew up it was called Fun Time Pizza, but they definitely had this guy and his band mates. The TV commercial had them performing “Happy Together”.

This is awesome and very nostalgic I remember ShowBiz Pizza Place growing up and I remember Billy Bob and it shows they put on every time you sat down eat pizza it's an awesome figure, but at the price tag of $150 it's way too overpriced in comparison to a lot of Highly articulated detailed high-end action figures heck not even sh figuarts or storm collectibles is as pricey. Great video and review.

I loved Showbiz as a kid. I remember when Chuck E. was the new kid on the block when Billy Bob was still the main guy. I couldn't help but feel betrayed when "the rat" became the main character, Billy Bob vanished, and the restaurants rebranded. Seeing the old animatronics at local Chicagoland festivals just fueled my distaste for Chuck E. Course, that was before I learned who bought out whom. Thanks Dan for showing this off. I miss old school Showbiz.

Yep same here in my area we had ShowBiz Pizza long before Chuck E. Cheese, and I can remember more than a few b-day parties there growing up in the 80's, and early 90's, before they truned into rundown crap!!!

Never heard of Showbiz Pizza, so this was an education. I was a weird kid, though. At the time, I hated pizza (I've come to like it in moderation) and even more so kid parties. Even as an 8-year old I'd rather go home and read a book than deal with all that noise and running around.

I received mine about a week ago. The paint on mine was scuffed in a few places that I'll have to touch up. And it looked rough in a few other spots on the overalls. It was completely scraped down to the brown in several places. I don't mind touching up an action figure, but you shouldn't have to do that on a $150.00 figure.
Having lived in the west I never knew about Showbiz Pizza, I might've heard it in passing and thinking nothing of it. However, that doesn't mean the Rocka-fire explosion didn't have a venue here, because on the west we had Pistol Pete's Pizza. Chances are the pizza may have tasted different, but other than that if you've been in a Showbiz, you've been in a Pistol Pete's. The real main difference being we had a cowboy in our advertising. Just like Showbiz, there's no Pistol Pete's, and the one location I knew was replaced by a different Pizza chain with a different Peter in the name. So if you're ever in Arizona it's either Chuck E. Cheese or their lower-tier franchise with no animatronics Peter Piper Pizza.

Did they ever run these things with just the animatronics showing. I never heard of this before, just asking. I think something like this was on The Simpsons.
I must've had 150 plush Billy Bob's from Showbiz, back when I was a kid. He was the easiest to get because he cost the lowest number of tickets and you absolutely couldn't leave empty handed and save your tickets for next time (kid logic). This looks awesome, but it's pretty lackluster by way of what you get for the price tag. For $150, you almost certainly can find a vintage Billy Bob on eBay and enjoy it a lot more than this, in my opinion. Also, why doesn't the bird connect to the guitar? Seems like a weird oversight/omission. Either way, the prices for these things are getting way over the top.
You coulda bought the whole show if you saved your 150 billy bobs 😹 - but ya, IDK why Aaron doesn’t release a cool figure set instead of the hideous plush toys on his site. These limited production runs suck, just drives price up ... and if they do release more, what’s the point since if you missed billy bob you won’t get a full set anyways.
