- I couldn't wait to see my husband again after an entire summer apart. Mariano doesn't have a visa yet so he cannot come with me to Florida to visit my parents. We tried for a tourist visa this year and got rejected. It is a costly and timely process to apply for a green card, but that seems to be our only hope. We don't want to continue doing long distance any more.

My husband and I are doing the spousal visa. We started in October of 2022 and we got approved in December through NVC. Now waiting for the interview! It is pricey, but well worth it!
