Got my moft wallet yesterday. I tried the wallet with and without the cover. I am sad to report that in both scenarios, the magnet was nowhere near strong enough. I returned it to Amazon the same day. I am purchasing a pop socket wallet instead, which is supposed to have a much stronger magnet.
Good review. I agree - a good product. I have been using my Moft wallet for a couple of days and I like it! Magnet is strong. The stand is sturdy. I have fit four cards in the wallet with ease. Watching this review gave me the idea to use the wallet as a grip holder. Works nicely. I’m happy with the purchase.
For my car, I prefer a mount which has a swivel head, so that I can change the orientation. Here's the one I picked: ruclips.net/video/CUwLQNLz9as/видео.html
Hot tip. 2 rfid cards together will cause interference and will not work when tapping but will not allow them to be read. Try to pay for something with 2 rfid cards together, it won't work.
This is so confusing, not because of your review. But there are soooo many opposing reviews about the strength of the magnet. Some reviews say they're trash, and others say they are amazing. So either moft has incredibly poor quality control for their magnets, or someone is not being truthful. Almost seems like a moft conspiracy lol. Any insight on this?
I compromised. I did want to take advantage of the magsafe but I just ended up getting the adhesive version. I don’t charge wirelessly and I have a lot of cards so that works for me.
Yes, you can. I've held receipts, sticky notes, a paper bill, etc in there. I'd advise no more than one bill, though, or the magnet doesnt secure down and it can slip out.
I Purchased this item because of kickstand abilities and the support it gives when holding in your hand. This Design is excellent in my opinion. All of the these features I really like and are excellent. Also I Purchased it in blue and I do not have any of those rough edges he shows with his. It is tight around the edges, it feels and looks great! I personally wish the magnet was stronger. I have a mag safe leather cover. It is not an Apple version, so I don’t know if that makes a difference. But watching him handle his case with the wallet it doesn’t appear to react any differently than his does. When you watch the video you can see how easy it is to just push the wallet to the left or the right and it just slides off the back. Many times I have taken it out of my pocket and the wallet slid off from the back of my phone. Fortunately the wallet was still in my pocket, but it did scare me when I saw my phone no longer had the wallet attached. It could have just as easily come out of my pocket and dropped on the ground somewhere. Personally I would not feel safe putting charge cards in something that detaches from the phone so easily. Therefore I don’t use the wallet feature. Otherwise I feel like it was made very well and the kick stands positions for the phone are excellent. For those reasons I am in joying it.
Hi! I have a separate magsafe charger in my car and a mount to attach my phone to when I'm driving. Even without the magsafe charging capabilities, will it attach to the magsafe charger like the moft magnet accessory? If it attaches, it is secure enough? thanks in advance!
The Moft wallet can attach to the MagSafe charging puck, but its not super strong (the MagSafe charger by itself won't be able to hold up the Moft wallet and the phone together at the same time)
I am sad to report that this wallet does not have magnetic shielding and will eventually desmagnetize the credit cards and specially bus/metro paper tickets or hotel cards. It is fine for credit cards using contactless / SIM chip. So far the only wallets that I found that have magnetically shielding is Apple one and the Mous magsafe.
Thank you for the video. A question. Does the Wallet allow you to pick up the iPhone 12 Promax everywhere, especially on steel appliances at the gym a bit like the Mac Back? Thank you?
The wallet is not strong enough to hold up itself and the phone if you attempt to attach the wallet to a metal surface...if you want to be able to attach the wallet and the phone to a metal surface such as fitness equipment at a gym, you need to attach the little adhesive sticky tab magnet first, and then attach your wallet/phone to that little magnet
@@LTunedX thanks so much , I’m waiting the magnetic fitness suport of Belkin ;) . But I order the moft wallet . I think That it clings better than Apple's hull. Thanks for your video !
Poor fake review! Great idea but completly useless as it is too bulky and the power of the magnet is poor. It shifts around and comes off very easily. The "test" of the magnetic strength you did is a very poor fake, just pull a tiny bit of the phone and it comes off. You are faking to shake a bit... you should admit it is a paid advertising.
The magnet from the wallet/stand is so weak. Just bought this yesterday!!
What a fantastic review and q&a. Bravo
“I’m happy to report” that I just ordered mine because of this video.
Are u Filipino? Lol ur hands look exactly like mine.
I'm happy to report that I am really grateful for this video to support my purchasing decision.
Glad it helped!
Thanks for the update and answering the questions I had from your first video
Give it nine months. that's when it starts to fall apart. The glue wears off starting at where the creases are. I would recommend the magbak instaed.

Question about that magnet accessory, do you think it'd be suitable for a car or should I stick to normal car mounting accessories
If you can find a flat smooth surface to stick the magnet accessory to, it will work pretty well in the car!

Great review
thanks man
Great review. I’m interested in this as a mount. I don’t care for the wallet part. Well made video.
im actually curious about what camera did you use to shoot this video lol.
Hi, do you have any problems while using the card inside the wallet (e.g transport card tapping)
no problem at all, the cards still work inside the wallet
@@LTunedX thanks for the info
Transport cards inside the wallet do not work for me. I am located in China currently, though.
Can you put a paper Bill 💵 in that opening when you pop it opening
Yes, you can. I've held receipts, sticky notes, a paper bill, etc in there. I'd advise no more than one bill, though, or the magnet doesnt secure down and it can slip out.
Yes you can put in bills

What do you think about the Spigen wallet ?
I used it for about a week and it bent my cards with that mechanism inside the wallet, the wallet bent as well, not worth it
Which case is this? I like it.
The phone case is the apple leather case
whats the background tho?
The wallpaper is by an awesome artist named Alena Aenami...you can find her work here: www.artstation.com/aenamiart
What case is this color
Thanks for the second review
Wow you answered all the questions thats important thanks!
Great review! Have you tried mounting the phone in a car and if it stays in place? Thanks!
Not yet, but I will be trying that out soon!
I personally own a moft snap on. Tried mounting it on a car with just an ac vent magnet. Thankfully, it holds the phone quite well even on bumps.

Thanks for the review. I’m getting mine next week 👍
Thanks alot 🌹

TreadMEal?
Thanks, will buy for my Nomad Magsafe case

I’ve been using this more than my Apple one.Shame it’s not real leather though
Yeah, I think the price of the Moft wallet would go up substantially if they used real leather
Burn that side bit w/ a lighter..
can it hold 4 cards after a while?
No, unless you purposely manually stretch it out over time, its not going to fit 4 cards easily
I didn’t get that magnet mount with my wallet :(
The magnet mount is a separate add-on that you have to purchase in addition to the wallet
Does the wall mount magnet locate the orientation of the phone?
Magnet is from the phone guys, not the case.
Incorrect, there are magnets inside the case as well
Get a MagBak. Way better quality. This is crap
