      @@talkingserpents Unfortunately something came up and I need to allocate my resources elsewhere. But that said I have already started setting money aside again to get one built by 1 built by you and and I am leaning more towards a 6' wide versus a 4' wide. I really want to treat my halmahera to something special with plenty of space.

    are your pvc enclosures stackable and how thick is the pvc

    • @talkingserpents
      @talkingserpents  Год назад +3

      Hi! 👋
      We use a combination of 1/2" & 3/4" thick pvc on our reptile enclosures. 1/2" thick pvc for the main structure and 3/4" thick pvc on the front trim. This combination makes our reptile enclosures strong and stackable. Stack them up to the ceiling if that's what you need.

    Are these waterproof for bioactive? Or would it safer to just put some silicone on the inside just in case?

  • @thesweetreveal

    just a thought but maybe put the vent on the side since so many people decorate the back piece!!

    • @talkingserpents
      @talkingserpents  3 года назад

      I agree, and disagree at the same time. Some of my customers stack reptile enclosures on top, as well as side by side, so I place them on the back wall. The good news is when my customers email me at talkingserpents@gmail.com and ask of they want the air vent on left, right , or both side I can and do get that done. Everyone has different needs, so I make sure to accommodate that. Are you interested in a reptile enclosure that we have on our website talkingserpents.com?

    OMG, awesome! Definitely going to buy a kit from you in a custom size after I move to Texas this year. Can you give a weight comparison on the wood vs pvc enclosures? Since I move every few years one thing I need is something relatively light and/or easy to take apart. How's much does the assembled 4x2x2 with glass doors and lighting fixtures weigh in wood and in PVC? Is the PVC easier to disassemble if necessary for moving?

      I do not, but I can assure you that our reptile enclosures are VERY easy to install. Each of our reptile enclosures come with directional stickers, and very comprehensive instructions. I definitely take pride in writing the instructions to be easy and comprehensive. For example I have NEVER had a customer message me asking how to put together our reptile enclosures. 😎🎉 Hope this information was helpful.

    • @talkingserpents
      @talkingserpents  2 года назад

      Hi! 👋
      Yes, our reptile enclosures allow for multiple heating and light sources. I can also add a power cord slot onto the right or left side of the reptile enclosure to make installing a uvb fixture super easy. (Free of charge)
      If you're wondering what a power cord slot is, it allows you to be able to rought a power cord inside the reptile enclosure. Specifically a power cord that has a 2, or 3 prong attachment already.

    • @talkingserpents
      @talkingserpents  2 года назад +1
