East Farmingdale, NY - Federal Signal Thunderbolt 1003 - Hi-Lo (Fire) Signal - 8/24/17

Update: This siren is no longer in service. The other 1003 at the Headquarters firehouse is also no longer in service, and is damaged from falling down during a storm. The 2 Sterling sirens next to the 1003s are being used until a new plan with the thunderbolts is discussed.
This siren is the East Farmingdale Fire Company's Station 2 Siren. It was sounded everyday at noon excluding weekends, for fire calls in Hi-Lo and for manpower requested on a rescue call in Alert. This siren is located atop the East Farmingdale Volunteer Fire Company #2 in East Farmingdale, NY on Wellwood Avenue.
I met up with Sirens of Long Island across from this 1003 in East Farmingdale. This was the first 1003 I have heard in person and it definitely was something to remember. Later in the day, this siren sounded in Hi-Lo for a Signal 23 AFA. Video Here: • Video
