    We need more affordable homes. Why is everybody only doing high-end?

      Because developers are not charities and zoning restrictions make it so that only very high-end developments are profitable. They could try and cram more smaller, cheaper houses into smaller lots but Toms River planning board wouldn't allow it.

      @@juliancohen9561 On what do you base your assumption that smaller, cheaper houses aren't profitable with the zoning restrictions? isn't it perhaps possible that they're still profitable but the developers wanted even more profit at the Tzibur's expense?
