If you have a different approach on how to produce this better, let us know. Please share with us your thoughts and methodologies. Thank you!!
@Mesolight Visual. I'm using Archicad 23 and it doesn't have the door and window labels. Where can I get them for free?
same problem here
Really helpful information. I like your kind and calm way of explaining things
Thanks a lot for this
🙏🏾
For selection your idea is more easy and better ...but we can select with ctrl+F
I cant see the secular door and window labals in archicad 24 is there a way to change this?
I think we are able to selact all the labels move them at once. I ll check!
Why not just use the labels that are built in to the doors and window rather than using the label tool? That way you can control if you see them or not by the model view options rather than a layer combination. Just a thought. I love your content by the way! Keep up the great work.
Thank you for your comment. Yes, that is another alternatives if you don't want to work with layers. The label can be assigned a layer and this gives you more options to play around with its visibility across all views.
I have never seen anyone use your method before, it is one way of doing it. I much prefer using the stock standard built in door / win markers way more control / less effort. I also recommend purchasing a custom label tool by www.masterscript.nl/Total-Marker
I spent forever trying to do what this tool does well worth the money.
I use a similar method to yours for labelling doors and windows in section and elevation with custom markers I made myself.
Another thing you might already know but using the element ID label is great how you used it ( control A doors ) but by selecting the doors and windows in the order you want them labeled allows you to label them in sequence you want.
Thanks for the video. Is there a way to possibly add the door/window tags in the schedule as well?
Yes Sir by using element ID field in your schedule scheme settings
@@MesolightVisual I tried doing that but it only adds the id name but not the complete label tag and symbol. Is there a way to add the element including the frame and format it looks like in the floor plan?
@@plomi1193 No sir that is not possible, you can only add a label in plan, section and elevation
How do I do it for multiple floors
I don’t want d01 for 2nd floor too
Its exactly the same thing, bit you will have to give it a different coding system if you don't want them to on the same D01
How can I activate the custom door panels ??
@Mesolight Visual Why are the Custom door panels in your template not applicable in my Archicad. Please help
You will need to load the PLA file that comes with the doors as library via library manager
i cant see the markers
please help
arch 24

i am wondering if you realised that your window coding is upside down.
I didn't realize, thanks for that🙏🏾
