On the Way home in Tours, Loire Valley

- Impromptu stroll live-streamed on Facebook in May 2021 before the end of the third French lockdown.
After running some errands, I take viewers from one of the historic centers in Tours (around la place du Châteauneuf) to the other (the Cathédrale neighborhood and la rue Colbert.) The walk wraps up by the Loire river.

Merci, et à bientôt.

Never too late to catch up, to catch up and get wonderfully lost in your lovely journey in historic Tours, merci beaucoup! Ms Vero! a la tour to Tours! We hope to visit soon, I and my wife and our little doggie!
I’m in Tours for the last three nights and I have walked most of the streets you had strolled through in the video. Also went to visit most of the iconic buildings in the town which you mentioned in the video. Did some long distance hiking along the left and right banks of Loire. I absolutely adore the city, which is a very walkable city with rich cultural heritage.
Thank you for the tour of Tours. I can see why you fell for it!
Thank you for joining me on the walk home, Jill.
Merci beaucoup Vero!
(From Toronto, Canada! 🍁🙏)
Vero, I'm definitely going to visit Tours and study French, maybe in that Place de Chatenauf !!!!!
Bonjour Véro et Merci! I thoroughly enjoyed joining you for a stroll in your new “neighborhood “.
Avec plaisir Marrie. More to come. I hope you can join today's RUclips virtual tour since you are a France with Véro Club Member! :-) Thank you for your support.
Bonjour et merci pour avoir partagé ce vidéo.
Je ne connais pas Tours, j'ai seulement visité Amboise, Chambord et Chenonceau
Avec plaisir. Tours est une ville qui gagne à être connue.
Merci from Montreal. Loved your tour of Tours. You answered a question I had and was disappointed by the answer: Parisians moving to Tours and the real estate prices are going up. I guess I will have to settle for just a visit. Best of luck to you in your new home in Tours.
Having a delightful time revisiting all your informative videos strolling through Tours as we anticipate our visit in April and our in person tour with you! Can't wait!
Awww. I like this one. I had just moved into town! Sometimes, impromptu is the way to go.
Thank you Véro for the charming tour of Tours. I stayed in a B&B there for a few days. Tours is delightful. I look forward to your adventures. Cheers!
Merci Laurie. I have been interacting with quite a few Tours "fans" lately :-)
I've never been to Tours (I've always travelled more abroad than I have in France...) but this proves I must make time to go there. Thanks! The balance between its being small and lively reminds me of my home city of Besançon. I think I'd love it there.
I am sure you would. Most people do :-)
Enjoyed your video and commentary from Canada today! First visited France this past December and fell in love with its beauty, history and charm.
If old proverb "The morning shows how the day will be" is true, then it seems that this petit tour of Tours is promise of great flâneur delights to come. Such a brave decision to move to another city in this precarious times. Wish you all the best at new home. I'm not sure if you are aware of this, but vero in italian means Truth, real, actual. So many so called "Paris" youtubers out there, but only Vero è vero, to make a little word play, respectfully to others of course, but it, nevertheless, should be said.
Well thank you very much Marko! What a wonderful comment AND I learned something about my first name. :-)
Wishing you every success and happiness in your new home. It’s a really charming place.
Merci beaucoup Elodie.
Merci beau coup, Vero. I fully enjoyed your tour of Tours. You are so kind to share your adventures. I look forward to seeing the next episode.
Avec plaisir Cynthia. Stay tuned. More great content headed your way soon.
@@francewithvero Je desire vivement les videos. Desole que il n'y a pas accents sur la clavieur
de l'ordinature. Desole, aussi, si mon francais est mal.
Merci pour partager Véro! C’est merveilleux!
Avec plaisir. We are just getting started :-)
You are making a fan of Tours of me.
Très bien! :-)
I’m so looking forward to getting to know your new stomping ground.
You got it. More Loire Valley adventures headed your way this year.
Oops Bon chance! Je suis désolé
Your sound was great, better than usual!! I think you should scrap the microphone. Seriously. Sound is very clear and strong.
Thanks for the feedback. I think the sound was great because Tours is a lot quieter than most Parisian neighborhoods where I typically livestream ;-)
llied Forces or the Germans ?
Not sure I understand the question Lydia?
