  • With Hamilton going to Ferrari in 2025 I was requested to do a Ferrari save with Hamilton to see how it went so I used the save editor to switch him and Sainz.
Migth have been better to nerf Ferarri a bit to make it more interesting so let me know what you think.

Messed around with the editor for this one, originally I wanted to just nerf Ferrari, but creating some competition from the other teams would be great I felt, as such I ended up buffing most of the other teams aswell to varying degrees. Had unfortunately no real time to test this, thus I ended up not nerfing Ferrari hard enough while not giving the buffs some teams required to be competitive. I'll try to get this sorted for next time :) Hope you enjoy still!

    Hey man, loving the videos!
I was wondering how you deal with the cost cap because I’m quite the overspender in that regard and I seem to go over it quite easily. When do you have to stop developing the car to not go over? And do you have any tips that might help me?
Thank you for the great content!

If you struggle with cost cap do your best to avoid rushing or using intense on design projects. Same for manufacturing aslong as you avoid rushing and emergency manufacturing you will usually be fine over the course of the season. In the financial view there is an estimation of cost cap left, once that starts getting close to 15-10 million you might want to stop so you can afford a few extra powertrain parts if you are unlucky.

Hey Nero, really like your F1-23 manager content!
I’ve got a question regarding development, does the intense multiplier apply to the expertise gained through ATR allocation? Or only on the initial project expertise gain?
    TIA

As far as I've seen the ATR does not have any interaction with intense unfortunately. Otherwise you'd definitively want to use intense with every ATR period.

Maybe as a nerf, you could try to not change the durability on the parts.

Can you do a video on how a team of 2 young driver academy drivers do well for the team they chose? The perfect team to do that is Alpine and the drivers will be Jack Doohan and either Victor Martins or Kush Maini. Sorry for asking this again. I was just wondering what would happen if two academy drivers are competing for the same team in the first season.

Sorry for not replying the first time, not sure if I am gonna do something like this for the time being but possible in the future, there isn't really to much depth to developing talent in this game other than maximize the simulator and try and give the reserve as much track time as possible. You do offcourse wanna focus on pace stats aswell as smoothness and control.

Quite new to the game, i have 2 questions. 1st When's the best time roughly to start doing Research rather than design? 2nd how come when a car part is damaged but not broken can you not swap it out after a race. Had 6 front wings but when I go to swap it out it doesn't seem to any remain stuck with the heavily damaged part!

Generally you are safe to start researching whenever you are hitting the boards objective for the season. If the board wants 6th and you believe no one can take it from you for example you would be fine to do research.
Damage to anything excepth Engines, ERS or Gearbox doesn't have any affect on pace. As such you wings, chassis, sidepods and underfloor only needs changing when the game tells you too.

@NeroBax appreciate your reply mate, I'm doing Ferrari and comfortably 2nd after 4 races so maybe soon I will start the research.
So does that mean that you don't need to and won't let you swap out car parts unless it's to another design or unless the car fails inspection? Will be a relief if true as have made 6 front wings in utter confusion when not able to swap it out.

Yes, that is how it works. The parts will not fail during race weekends unless you crash the car.

@NeroBax that's brilliant well I will have plenty of front wings in supply when they do fail. I mistakenly thought I had swapped out a damaged part before and thought there was a bug but makes sense now. Keep up the food work man, watched a stack of your videos the last week, very helpful. Was wandering why I was qualifying well then dropping quickly in the races, was mainly as was starting on balanced tyre wear and pace and didn't realise AI were going full throttle.

The whole point of the series was to see Hamilton dominate. I think this series shouldn’t have happened but been a 1 episode season where you sped through the results and showed highlights.

You are an amazing RUclipsr; however, your consistency is letting you down. It seems to be one of your weak points. Make sure you build up a backlog of videos and release them sparingly. It seems you get bursts of motivation or have a few weeks where you can pump out videos day after day then get into busy periods where you cannot. I am only critical of you because I think your channel is great for guides and F1 content.
