Good review. The reason you don't understand the story is because Veritus is the sequel to a game named Prodigal. Prodigal is more structured like a proper Zelda-game. It has an overworld with a village. It comes with a dating-system, too. According to how Myna looks, I can guess who is Orans canonical wife.^^
