Tonight I was contemplating ending it all I had no one to talk to and no one to stop me but I watched you perform this song and for some reason it helped me, you are great at making these connect with the soul. Thank you
I’m glad to hear you are ok my friend. In good times and in bad there is always music that will pull us through. It has helped me in all aspects of my life. I am soo glad you reached out and I hope you stay healthy and happy for many years to come. Here is to wishing the best of futures my friend. Take care and god bless you.
Hi Marty, you've given a great vibe to this one , siperb singing, thanks a lot. By the way - the four-finger-G is not a Gadd9 since the B-string third fret is a D-note which is the fifth of the plain G-triad. Most of the time people refer to that chord as “Rock-G“
Heh Marty, nice job on this one. Always enjoy what you do. One small correction, this song was written by the great Paul Carrack if I recall correctly.
What picks do you use? I usually use a 1.0 Dunlop or a .80 but I think it’s kind of stiff and loud for some songs and the thinner picks don’t seem to sound as clean. Do you recommend any particular picks?
Seamus Johnson hey buddy!! You are sure doing some great work of your own on guitar!! For those of you reading this, you should check out this kids channel, he is truly something special!! Keep up the awesome work buddy!! Take care and food luck from your friend PartyMarty!!
Mmmm...not what you said in the video but fair enougth. You edited the info only after your ignorance was pointed out in another comment and then a cut and paste of Wikipedia.

Whenever I try songs like this I find the guitar is the only one singing in tune. Keep up the good work, thank you.
Co-written by an English guy called Paul Carrick who was part of Mike and the Mechanics another great English band.
And Paul Carrack played keyboards with Squeeze and sang lead vocal on the first part of their hit “Tempted”.

Written by Paul C and Jim Capalidi (former Traffic with Steve Winwood) and another guy who I can’t remember. Paul C does it really well.
