Great interview! I can't wait to watch the film. My only wish in this interview setting (due to lack of 'C' seating) was that there is a second interpreter off-camera just for the front row to watch the interpreter repeat what is being said in the back row. That way, the front row won't have to turn their heads awkwardly.

Kind of off topic, but this interview is so clunky. There are so many times in this interview that when someone is signing in the front row, the Deaf people in the back row subtly ask the off camera interpreters what they are saying. And, there are multiple instances where they accidentally interrupt each other because they can't see that the other person was going to start.

I know Jerry Covell and his 2 other Deaf and Hard of Hearing Brothers from WSD (Washington state). He was my former classmate in 1st and 2nd and maybe 3rd grade.

Can the auto-captioning in this video please be cleaned up to be fully formatted and readable? EDIT: I see that it is cleaned up now! Thanks!

I enjoyed this interview but I wish Matt Brennan/his team stopped at the moment when he realized the setting was terrible, nothing wrong with pausing and adjust the seat setting.... so that turned me off...

Oops, the Deaf here are easy to see signing, but the hearing interviewer is not interpreted ( for a Deaf viewer to see his questions in ASL...)

I believe the Sundance streaming has ended. So now we'll all have to wait until it comes out! Possibly on Apple TV... Anyone know when?

All I see is "We are a victimhood" There are more people who judge others not by their immutable characteristics but by their merit, good people that do what they do not have to victimize each other to feel inclusive.

All I see is a “crybaby” blaming everyone for being a mediocre dude, so you align to trump and his hate agenda, so you don’t have to recognize the good people, their merits, just blaming “the otherside” for your failings, you victimize yourself to be relevant but that doesn’t strip your mediocrity, you will try to delete inclusiveness but at the end the snowflakes trumptards will be laugh out loud in the history books because of their ignorance, so enjoy your moment that is short
