In what way is he "the most underrated"? 16 Emmy nominations, 1 win, 6 Golden Globe noms, 2 wins, 12 SAG noms and 2 wins, dude is rolling in nominations, he is not even remotely close to underrated. Also: fit for any role? Seriously? Fit for any role that requires a handsome white middle aged American man, you mean.
About 10 years ago I worked as a PA for a few months on a Lifetime network series called "The Division", Hamm played like basically the 1 male detective in an otherwise all female precinct (on Lifetime?! shocker haha) Obviously this was still light years away from him being at all famous yet, and I have to say he was still even then the coolest, most professional & down to earth actor to work with on a set. He has zero ego. (if only it occurred to me to write something for him myself haha)
Jon Hamm has this really awesome cheeky smile where his eyebrows go up. When Draper genuinely smiles, its really fun to watch because it seems so out of character.
Hamm shows intense versatility and interchangeablility. I cant believe the show he can put on his Madman role is compelling and very convincing to say the least . He also knows himself well over average.
+halfbreed1426 he doesnt want it. like, his opinion on life and acting arent to chase franchise roles. I def think he could and i hope that he was considered for it, but I dont think he bothered trying to get it
Same here, but I want Marvel Studios to cast him as Reed Richards ASAP! Do it, Kevin Feige, Sarah Halley Finn, Bob Iger, God, whoever. Someone do it!!!!
I know exactly what you're talking about. Whenever he and Roger play shenanigans at work is one of the few times he lets his natural smile show off, and it's such a contrast to the serious role he plays as Don.
+Augusto Huertas A role model? You realize that he smashed a frat pledge's balls with a hammer and set him on fire in college, right? He was expelled and had to enter into a plea deal
Best response to this video. He is one of many in L.A who are struggling way past their prime because of the dynamics in L.A. Most personalities in L.A who are struggling are like this. They are open minded, because they are looking for any opportunity to break in to what is now a small group of artist.
When he jokes and wants to emphasis he stops moving and stays on the same expression for a couple of seconds, and he is COMPLETELY motionless. Notice from 1:38 for how long he stays 'statuefied'.
Hahahaha that`s funny because I know a lot of people who feel the same way as you, but I was introduced to his talent in his comedic roles (I haven`t gotten around to watching Mad Men yet, but I do want to watch it some day). So I, personally, I always expect him to be this witty, yet goofy, funny and charming guy that I see reflected in his comedy performances
not only did it take him to break into the biz but jon hamm lost both his parents by the time he graduated college. i mean it;s not don draper level depressing but still pretty sad, and he definitely seems like a great guy
i want him to play batman in the 2015 reboot. he's looks, and sounds like bruce wayne, and has the commanding presence that batman had in the animated series.
it's alright Jon Hamm, my first car had a clutch that was going out and and the sunroof would leak so every time I turned a corner a bunch of water would fall on my head, eventually I sold it for like $300
There are a lot of people here drooling over the fact that Jon Hamm had a 1986 Toyota Corolla. But believe it or not, there was a time when a Toyota Corolla was the most uncool and undesirable car you could have. Nobody knew or cared what an AE86 was, or a Hachiroku, or a Levin, or a Trueno. So most people who say they *used to* have an '86 Corolla back in the day probably didn't know anything about the specs, nor did they care at all. To 24-year-old Jon Hamm, it was just a crappy old car that barely got him from point A to point B (it frequently overheated). It wasn't cool in the slightest, and I'm sure Jon Hamm would agree. In contrast, most people *today* who say they have an '86 Corolla know everything there is to know about it, and they very much take care and baby their cars (you have Initial D to thank for that).
Jon is the most underrated actor. He is the ultimate gentleman, fit for any role.
Seriously.
Actually, he kinda sucks at acting n madmen was 3 season over its limit. It was literally the same b.s every season. It became a bad joke
@@vperkv6554 i think that’d be more of an issue with the script than his acting
He's actually pretty crappy in everything else I've seen him in besides Mad Men. He was born to play that role.
In what way is he "the most underrated"? 16 Emmy nominations, 1 win, 6 Golden Globe noms, 2 wins, 12 SAG noms and 2 wins, dude is rolling in nominations, he is not even remotely close to underrated.

this man was born in a suit.
John Kenobi mmmm his voice😍
😂😂😂😂
Jon Hamm wearing a suit will always be Don Draper to me.
+NairForce2293 He'll always be a sociopath to me ever since he smashed that frat pledge's balls with a hammer and set him on fire
NairForce2293 I would've love to see him with the suit off
Donald Draper is Jon Hamm
Nah he's Derek Childrens, long lost son of Arthur Childrens
But Don Draper wearing rollerblades will always be Jon Hamm to me.
The legend says that this man came out of his mother wearing a suit with cigar in his mouth and a glass of scotch in his hand
...and a parking ticket in the other hand.
+Always Offended The legend actually says that he set a frat pledge on fire and smashed his balls
Wemble Ton In his defense it was only a frat pledge, not an actual person or animal.
Everyone knows that Don Draper's drink of choice is an Old Fashioned.
I think he only smokes a cigar once in Mad Men, Season 3 Episode 4?
"It's good to have a job..." True words from a humble actor.
I'll bet Jon Hamm was the greatest damn rollerblader that ever existed.
I hope he plays Reed Richards
you said that only after his success..god knows how many struggling actors are in LA right now
About 10 years ago I worked as a PA for a few months on a Lifetime network series called "The Division", Hamm played like basically the 1 male detective in an otherwise all female precinct (on Lifetime?! shocker haha) Obviously this was still light years away from him being at all famous yet, and I have to say he was still even then the coolest, most professional & down to earth actor to work with on a set. 1:31 - Don Draper can sell you anything! ;)
"Mad Men" one of my favorite tv series so far.
What a man what a man what a man what a mighty good man!
Jon Hamm has this really awesome cheeky smile where his eyebrows go up. When Draper genuinely smiles, its really fun to watch because it seems so out of character.
"A man is whatever room he is in"
Oh man, I feel spoiled. It's good to see people come up, and they are still down to earth.
I’m in covid quarantine having myself a little Jon Hamm marathon on RUclips. Thanks for making my day a bit better! 😉
aah that’s nice 😌
My God he's handsome, and so humble, incredible human.
jon hamm has earned my respect. the irony is he is the only rollerblader to achieve that.
Hamm shows intense versatility and interchangeablility. I cant believe the show he can put on his Madman role is compelling and very convincing to say the least . He also knows himself well over average.
why hasn't Jon hamm been sexiest man of the year yet?
SERIOUSLY!
well he is a SEX SYMBOL
He was in 2007
This is the perfect example of a question that should be asked by a woman.
He's talented, humble, looks, style and voice...
Hello Thanks how are you doing
this video made me pregnant.
+carmonkey Oh, do you like sociopaths who smash people's testicles and set them on fire?
+Wemble Ton Alcohol and testosterone makes kids do lots of stupid things. Try to forgive him.
Are you Mark Sander's brother? Is that why you're holding onto this grudge? Does his fame bother you?
Oh, my god. Is it possible to love someone you have never met?
He cleans up SO well
Thanks dear and nice to meet you 🌹
Hello pretty lady how are you doing today I hope you are doing well and I really appreciate you being my fans 💓💓💓
If he could work hard enough to put on an English accent, he could be James Bond.
What a great guy! Love his attitude, very positive.
Hello thanks how are you doing
He isn't Jon Hamm. He's Don Draper.
No, he's Dick Whitman.
Meh, he isn't even a little bit like his character on Mad Men, he's much more cheerful and funny.
"..I would rollerblade" such pride in those words!
Wish he was cast as Batman in the next instalment instead of Ben Affleck! he would be perfect for it!
totally agree haha
YOur right , he is much more interesting and edgy and hes got the jaw for it!
welp maybe now he has a chance, ben affleck is apparently sick of the role already, he should never have been cast
omg so true
Ben Affleck did an excellent job at it. He's done with the role. And now Robert Patterson is taking on the mantle and I wish it was Jon.
i love jon hamm as much as conan and ladies and gentlemen THAT IS THE TRUTHE
What a winning smile.
Love how humble he is. Cool dude.
Smart, funny, modest, sexy...a girl can only dream. 😍
A few words about Jon Hamm: Best. Man. Alive.
Wow thanks how are you doing
Could I just say, I LOVE your thumbnail? Absolutely love it!
he is soooo handsome!!
Thanks nice meeting you
Jon Hamm is the Man
The Mad Man
I love this man so much
Wow thanks how are you doing
I'm pretty disappointed that he didn't get the part of Batman in the DCU.
+halfbreed1426 he doesnt want it. like, his opinion on life and acting arent to chase franchise roles. I def think he could and i hope that he was considered for it, but I dont think he bothered trying to get it
he can be harvey dent just one movie
+I'm Gaming I'll take that.
Same here, but I want Marvel Studios to cast him as Reed Richards ASAP! Do it, Kevin Feige, Sarah Halley Finn, Bob Iger, God, whoever. Someone do it!!!!
There is no Batman in the DCU. Only a Bat-Punisher.
1:36 Conan just can't let someone else have attention hahaha
The guy deserves an Emmy. When he puts on that suit and slicks his hair down, he IS Don Draper. Or Dick Whitman, whichever...
This man is truly hot and talented.
I enjoy the fact that conan responded to the 1986 corolla exactly like I did. They are cool little cars.
'86 Corolla and Mk1 Golf? Dang, Jon Hamm has handled some classics...
I know exactly what you're talking about. Whenever he and Roger play shenanigans at work is one of the few times he lets his natural smile show off, and it's such a contrast to the serious role he plays as Don.
He was freaking awesome in The Town.
best sense of humor ever
His suite is so fire
+Zach Blackburn Like how he set that frat pledge on fire and smashed his balls with a hammer back in college?
Jon Hamm is the man!
Glad to be an aspiring actor in NY where you don't need a car. Those things suck up money.
Jon Hamm as James Bond... Nuff said
I just grew ovaries watching this severely hot man.
They're so colorful!!
Jon Hamm!!! I love him!
+Athra Babylon Oh, so you love sociopaths who smash people's balls with hammers and set them on fire? Because thats what he did to someone in college
Thanks dear and nice to meet you 🌹
Pure................................................................................Retro---Hotness.
Jon Hamm have my babiess!!
oh my, this man is AMAZINGGG
his face when he says "I would rollerblade"
I’m in love with John🥰
Wow thanks how are you doing
86 corolla is a nice car,....good driftin car hard to find
They're hard to find because so many rice racers modify/destroy them. Early Integras and Eclipse/Talon/Lasers are right behind.
That dude is cool as all fuck in real life too.I came late to discover mad men but glad I did.
I'm so pleased that Jon Hamm and I share the same home town.
I gotta admit - I hate Don Draper, but I love Jon Hamm :)
i dislike both.
I like Draper and Hamm. Can't stand Conan.
Idk. Something about Jon...He just seems full of himself. There is confident than there is arrogant.
I like Jon Hamm and am indifferent about Don Draper, but I can't stand Adrian Mendoza or NJtoTX. *****, however, I simply find intriguing...
HaveCarapace bitch ;)
I've never heard Jon speak this much in my life.
he is one of the most handsome men i've ever seen
1:35 Man he really sticks the landing looking into Camera 1.
god, LOVE the title of tis video
Jealous. Incredibly well-built man.
He is a role model.
+Augusto Huertas A role model? You realize that he smashed a frat pledge's balls with a hammer and set him on fire in college, right? He was expelled and had to enter into a plea deal

Most unflattering thumbnail ever...
haha I only see him as Don Draper now. Its so weird. No matter what roll he's in.
I agree, he would make a great Clark/Supe.
When he jokes and wants to emphasis he stops moving and stays on the same expression for a couple of seconds, and he is COMPLETELY motionless. Notice from 1:38 for how long he stays 'statuefied'.
Thank you for pointing this out. Without this comment, none of the rest of us would have noticed. You truly are a genius.
It really shows what a incredibly handsome man can achieve if he just puts his mind to it, inspirational story.
So much win!
He would be a great Superman if they ever did a Superman Reboot
Hahahaha that`s funny because I know a lot of people who feel the same way as you, but I was introduced to his talent in his comedic roles (I haven`t gotten around to watching Mad Men yet, but I do want to watch it some day). Have you watched Madmen yet?
He's usually so stone faced as Draper. It's fun to see his true personality. Seems like a wonderful guy.
Wow thanks how are you doing
2:25 no I still rollerblade to this day
not only did it take him to break into the biz but jon hamm lost both his parents by the time he graduated college. i mean it;s not don draper level depressing but still pretty sad, and he definitely seems like a great guy
Woo! St. Louis!!
London has a brilliant transportation system
1:40 BEST!!
Hilarious! I had two old Toyota Corollas and both have hilarious stories as well. This brought back fun memories!
Thanks dear and nice to meet you 🌹
Jon Hamm is fantastic person alive 😸
Wow thanks how are you doing
@@jonhamm2803 your very welcome
@@jonhamm2803 I'm okay thanks are we still friends yes or no
Yes
I messaged you on Google chat
i want him to play batman in the 2015 reboot. he's looks, and sounds like bruce wayne, and has the commanding presence that batman had in the animated series.
he was amazin in the town when he played an fbi agent. love that
There are plenty of guys like him in Los Angeles.
andy has the best job ever
it's alright Jon Hamm, my first car had a clutch that was going out and and the sunroof would leak so every time I turned a corner a bunch of water would fall on my head, eventually I sold it for like $300
My God I want to marry this man.
😂 how are you doing
What?!?! Jon Hamm is from St. Louis?! Sweet! I'm a KC RUclipsr! Missouri FTW! Lol
Yes Yes Yes to infinity YEEEEEEEEEEEEES!
Damn he looks good
up until he said 86 toyota corrola, i was imagining all that he said was happening in the 60s.
I'm always sad when Conan videos have to fade out at the end.
JON HAMM FTW
When you find out jon hamm was secretly takumi when he was younger

+NESherv You should get in touch with him; you have something in common. Don't mention the Initial D though =]
John Hamm: it was a 86 Toyota Corolla (Eurobeat intensifies)
