I drove one of them Foxbodies before, it was like a 93 model, you should keep it stick shift. Only problem with them old school mustangs is the shifting, a lot of folks say they had trouble gettin into the 3rd gear, even me tryna drive one, had trouble finding 3rd. Might wanna get a aftermarket short throw shifter kit, I kno you said you wouldn't care about racing in dat car, so I think it would make sense to clean it up, get the interior back A1, and the exterior. There was a dude on instagram would did a whole interior swap wit a engine swap on a foxbody too shii brazy, good luck wit the project build gang! And I look forward to seein dat bimmer sometime! if i was you vontae ill keep it stick and swap a 5.0 coyote engine and put twin turbos on it change the muffler make it into a sleeper 89 ford mustang also i think its a nice purchase congratulations on it

We want an offset with a lip on rear wheels if not go 4 squared with lips all around (shop by lug pattern you’ll get more options) . Get new headers. 2 inch exhaust with x or h pipe. Your preference. Go turbo or procharger on motor ( coyote is a tight fit & a lot for maintenance, can’t reach anything without squeezing). Go led all lights and new dash. Redo stock interior with new leather/ fabric or swap out with newer Stang interior.
