God I love this game, imagine - if after they'll release valheim 1.0 they would do a similar game but in different mythology, like ancient Egypt? All of them gods as bosses? Bruh I'd play even if it's just a desert biome, but maybe a progression line based on building piramids and tamples and doing some story quests.. idk but Valheim sure did set a new standard for the genre of survival games
Oh yeah valheim did raise the bar above all the rest cookie cutter survival games that get dropped thees days. Even tho they have good looking visuals they just don't have a soul like valheim does. Same as you i do hope that they give us more, and if i know my human minds set and company mind set if there is profit in it they will probably do it.
So i havent seen magic in valheim yet. Like- never. And everytime you tell us that everything is easier with magic, like when you fought moder and said "if i had my mage gear i would be crushing you so easily" i wonder how magic looks and how powerful it actually is. ... And now i'm completely hyped to see the mage side of valheim for the first time in the next episodes :D
U newer seen magic in action?? Well all i can say full power ashlands mage can take all of valheim's bosses at the same time as i said in the video i did that once. And it kan teke up to 50 of those Moregen thing as the same time. So it is safe to say that its a very strong class.

To parry and block successfully in this game you must have enough armor and health so when enemies break ur stance even tho u blocked it just means you dont have enough health and armor. So try eating better food ( baked lox pie, bread, wolf skewer)

I'm gonna let Samus do the death counter this time cuz I feel too bad lol It starts as an amusing joke and turns into feeling like I'm rubbing it in your face and it makes me feel dirty. I'm happy your friend came to help and the battle montage was enjoyable. Valheim really is just better with friends. I love that you call him yogurt, i'm going to adopt that now xD But in my experience he was the hardest boss to fight when you're at level. Usually when we do our bosses we try to get everyone together, it's like a fun slaughter time, but he's a pain in the ass. As for taming the lox the best use for them is their meat because you can make much better food that way, with the lox pie. Especially when you're not regularly exploring the plains anymore, like when you hit the mistlands. I think their hides are important too? Idk I'm a mage, I don't need that heavy armor crap xD;

I've tried to solo fight Yag a couple times the normal way. It never works. I always end up doing the circle strafe cheese. You basically get him to a flat piece of land, run around him till you're aligned with his tail, then you just continually walk/sprint around him while hitting him. He'll continually try to turn around to face you, but you just stick to chasing/hitting his tail, which means he'll never attack. The silver knife is the best choice for this since your attacks are fast, there's spirit damage, and it doesn't slow you down when you have it equipped, unlike all other weapons.
Future tips for anyone in the comments: Yoghurt dislikes frost. Turn him into ice cream. Well done on pushing through that dairy queen nightmare prof mage!
@ProfessionalMage the trap isn't as easy as people make it look for yoghurt because it relies on specific hole depth and positioning (lol) so it's only really an easy way to go when you already know how to do it! You still turned him into cheese, just slower... So yanno just fancy mature cheese now, I'd call that a win! 😎

I beat him during my first fight with him solo but his death explosion killed me off along side him so I had to portal back to get my stuff and his drops.
Wait death explosions do damage??? Or is it his in particular but i didn't notice it and i was standing in it when i offed him. But regardless must have been annoying when you killed the boss and then he took you down with him hahahaha!
Oh the boss is easyer wit friend bcs of the bait methode that i used in the video. Solo that is a different story. Son is Wonders - JVNA i found it in the yt studio library.
For me was this one since when i need to fight the queen i am a mage at that point so she is easy. But thees valheim bosses rly are something else when you take in to a count that this is a survival game haha.
There is a trick to stand behind the wall right when you enter and then just slam the demolisher. I saw a even faster way of throwing bile bombs, but you have to kill about 90 gjalls so it might not be worth it.
Always clear the area before the boss fight. 😅I diead two times first time fighting him though, it took so long time the first fire resistance stoped working and I forgot to take a new one, also a gang of night fulings turned up. 🥲

It was the most annoying fight so far bcs i fucked up the trap but we pulled trough.

I was killed by yagluth 5 times on my first play though and that was despite walking the shrine off with a hoe. That meteor shower is OP
