Last year we spent a week in Nashville in our RV and enjoyed it so much we had to make a stop again this year. There's so many things to do in Nashville! Last year, we did a lot more of the "touristy" stuff and had a blast, but this year we wanted to mix in some new and more unique experiences that the area had to offer!

Our current 'travel groove' - we arrive to a new city every week.
We spend the first 3-4 days editing a previous week's video and then have about 3 days to explore & film. We enjoy good coffee, local eats, and unique experiences to the area were in. We love highlighting small businesses in hopes it'll bring more good people their way.
With or without a travel channel, this is how we'd be living, and we're stoked we get to share it with you.

Franklin native here. The statue's name is "Chip". He's supposed to represent Confederate soldiers. It was erected by the Daughters of the Confederacy. There's been some confusion over who legally owns the statue and property so the city hasn't removed it. They instead put a new statue of a black union soldier by the old courthouse that looks in the direction of the Confederate soldier.

Pro tip: You can park at the Oprymills Mall parking lot in front of Regal Cinemas and as close to the Hotel Resort as possible for free unlimited parking and less than a 5 min. walk.
Dude I've lived here in Nashville for 47 years and this video made me want to visit Nashville too. LOL, next time visit Slim and Husky's also. Another great Nashville treat.

@Alejandro-gk9jw As a native myself, the lower Broadway area was a no go in the late 70s - 80s. It really took off when city leadership got some injection with out of state blood. Really when the Houston Oilers relocated to Nashville is when people realized that Nashville had grown up.
Great little promo of Nashville. Y'all did it justice. Nashville has changed a great deal over the past 10 years. Getting a little crowded though. Keep it safe down the road.

Robert's Western World is always a solid spot to hear music on Broadway (it's one of the places that locals actually go).

We stayed at the hotel across from the titians stadium and we walked over to check it out and they hissed at me when I had my Patriots shirt on..lol. Great people..lol. One thing about Nashville, yes ..drunks all over ..you can walk everywhere
My grandpa owned the Chicago bean car for over 20 years, we had it in our museum in Stone Mountain Georgia!

The Jack tours are great and the town is a cool little place with some amazing food!
I'm in Gatlinburg Tennessee Great Smoky mountains national park and Nashville is just all drunks, annoying drunks and homeless drunks....it's gotten worse over the years unfortunately..Great video though..lol
I've lived in Nashville all my life, and all we are now is a place for the world to come and get hammered. Sad.

Franklin is located in Williamson County. Williamson county is where a lot of the country stars, music executives, and sports stars live. It is one of the 10 wealthiest counties in America. So yes, those houses were very pricey. That one that you highlighted probably cost several million. Pretty much anywhere you go in Williamson county will look like that, with the prices to match.

We lived in Nashville for a year during covid so it wasn't as packed as normal. Lane museum is cool. Hattie b's is great and i miss all the other hot chicken places. Even though alot of stuff wasn't going with covid we still found plenty of stuff to do

As a Nashvillian - this was fun to watch
I went to one of those climbing parks and my back cramped up so bad it hurt for 3 weeks
East Nashville is nice as well, super chill area.
Next time you make it back this way, be sure to checkout THE PHARMACY for a cool backyard grill out feel with some of the best sourdough burgers you will ever have. Oh, and you can park at Oprymills (the mall that used to be an awesome little themepark) and walk the path to Opryland Hotel. Also, the hotel IS touristy because it originally was the linked hotel for the Opryland USA themepark & Grand Old Opry House. The Opry House is still there but the park is now the mall & mall parking lot 😥
We had a great time in Nashville. I would of really enjoyed it when I was 20. It tore me up and wore me out lol. 😆

Hi, guys! The Gaylord is a cool place - we were there a couple of weeks ago for several nights... it's not really Vegas-y, but still lots of fun... if a little pricey. Axe-throwing on Broadway is fun for next time, maybe? Great job on the video!

Hello glad to see whats going on in Nashville we have been here since 1989. We don't get downtown much these days. It has changed a lot over the years some good some bad.
Grand Ole RV oweners are good friends of ours they are 5 miles from our studio.
Come visit us next time your in Nashville we have RV hookups for you to stay at.
Nashville is a shell of what it was as Downtown is nothing but tourists and drunk bachelorettes. Luckily, there are neighborhoods surrounding Downtown where locals can hang in peace.

The stuff in Lane also get used. The caretakers often bring stuff out to Nashville Cars & Coffee car meets.

I have never been to Lane Motor Museum, but 20 years ago, before this museum existed, I would go to BMW club meetings and this guy would show up, and he always showed up in cool and interesting cars, almost never in an actual BMW (even though he owned a bunch). We would have a meeting every summer at Percy Priest Lake, and he would always show up in one of his amphibious cars and give us rides on the lake. He's a real car guy.
You two are a cute couple to watch. Appreciate the info. Heading there on a Motorcycle ride next week.

The car museum was cool but you should definitely check out Barbers Museum in Birmingham Alabama.
The race track is amazing, but he's super strict about damaging any of the armcos. If you go on the track, don't wreck, or it will cost you a pretty penny to fix what you damaged on the track.

😂 omg the train!! We wore earplugs every night. That was the only “con” we had about that place. Didn’t really fit mentioning it in the vid. Hope you enjoy Nashville though! The location is great!

The hot chicken has been around for years, but it was only in East Nashville and North Nashville. It was a neighborhood thing.
Nashville Hot Chicken was created back in the depression, it's nearly a hundred years old.
Prince's Hot Chicken has had a chicken shack in Nashville since the 1930s. They are the original hot chicken place in Nashville. They are also still the best.
