He talks a good game, but I'd never trust him to have our interests. When Vivek was attending an Ohio public school some misguided members of our lineage would beat him up, so his professional parents put him in private school. He has held a grudge ever since. We must be collectively self-determined, need politics to do it, and time is critical. Mr. Ramaswamy doesn't want to bring Americans together, he wants to be an American president, which involves pandering to the Republican base to get there. If you want to swim in that cesspool, go for it.

I'm a 22 year old white guy, born just before 9/11 and I grew up with the mindset that all Muslims were evil and I had a very ignorant hate in my heart and it was the same desire for truth that brought me out of that, and its guys like this that help me understand that we aren't as divided as some might have it look. The way they reacted to Don Lemon play the race card is the exact way I react when I hear a lot of conservatives speakers. People like Don Lemon, or any republican who uses the term "Rhino", think that because they share our race or most of our ideology that we just have to fall in line but most of us have pretty nuanced and flexible opinions and we just want to find a way to get along and move tf on. Both sides hate each other and if we cant find a way to fix that, like not listening to people like Don Lemon spew hate, and get along then we aren't headed anywhere good as a society.

If you knew anything about the republican party the first thing you would know is how splintered the party is. It's not united like the so called left. To say "republican" simply doesn't encompass those who vote republican. A lot of people who may vote republican can be very liberal in a lot of ways and less conservative than others. Some more conservative. Furthermore, many democrat voting people are more conservative than they realize and a lot have even switched parties realizing this. This isn't as simple as two sides fighting and you are just the smart one caught in the middle. Comes down to values and when you tally up the numbers, no matter who you are you are, you find out where your beliefs truly are, and I guarantee they do lean one way or the other. Fence sitting is really not an option. Arguably the left is mostly brainwashed. The right or so called right, are at odds with each other in many ways. This could give a more clear picture that the right in fact is far more diverse as they don't all sing along with the same tune. I'm former hard core left myself. Took me a while to realize this. He then started another company that is an investment firm that is a direct competitor with Blackrock. Vivek is worth $600 million and is only 37 years old. Ive watched/listened to about 10 interviews now, and he 100% has my vote.

I don't care what color he is, the ethnicity of his name, any of that. He's smart, he has his head in the right place, and he actually wants to do what's best for Americans. He's a good dude and I think he'd make an excellent president.

It’s interesting that you mention that you are a Southern Baptist. The term came from the separation of the church into northern and southern denominations before the civil war. Southern baptists were pro slavery and defended their rights to have slaves. Just some food for thought.

And when they lost the civil war they started the KKK, to keep blacks " in line". Then the democrats made Jim Crow laws to keep blacks down. Once Jim Crow began, it was all down hill for Blacks in the U.S. until the Civil Rights movement. While the Civil Rights Movement certainly did not solve Black folks' problems, it did help make daily living easier (in general) and it did establish various rights for Blacks and others in the country.

Vivek has an amazing ability to retain facts and use them in a cohesive way to make his point clear. I have never heard him be reduced to name calling or descend to character slurs to rebut someone's argument. Instead he challenges opponents to find the fault in what he has said. I have yet to see anyone rebut his facts, they to a person try to talk over his and continue to attack him personally instead of explaining why they think he is wrong. As an American of African descent (Mom was mixed and Dad was black) I must say a majority of issues in the black community derive from the victim mentality. The moment you shed that you can thrive if you truly want to, and I mean truly want to. I am the first 6 figure earner by 30 in my families recent history (last 100 years or so), and I attribute that to the mentality I was raised with. Nobody is holding me back but me.

I'm a 22 year old white guy, born just before 9/11 and I grew up with the mindset that all Muslims were evil and I had a very ignorant hate in my heart and it was the same desire for truth that brought me out of that, and its guys like this that help me understand that we aren't as divided as some might have it look. The way they reacted to Don Lemon play the race card is the exact way I react when I hear a lot of conservatives speakers. People like Don Lemon, or any republican who uses the term "Rhino", think that because they share our race or most of our ideology that we just have to fall in line but most of us have pretty nuanced and flexible opinions and we just want to find a way to get along and move tf on. Both sides hate each other and if we cant find a way to fix that, like not listening to people like Don Lemon spew hate, and get along then we aren't headed anywhere good as a society.

If you knew anything about the republican party the first thing you would know is how splintered the party is. It's not united like the so called left. To say "republican" simply doesn't encompass those who vote republican. A lot of people who may vote republican can be very liberal in a lot of ways and less conservative than others. Some more conservative. Furthermore, many democrat voting people are more conservative than they realize and a lot have even switched parties realizing this. This isn't as simple as two sides fighting and you are just the smart one caught in the middle. Comes down to values and when you tally up the numbers, no matter who you are you are, you find out where your beliefs truly are, and I guarantee they do lean one way or the other. Fence sitting is really not an option. Arguably the left is mostly brainwashed. The right or so called right, are at odds with each other in many ways. This could give a more clear picture that the right in fact is far more diverse as they don't all sing along with the same tune. I'm former hard core left myself. Took me a while to realize this. Ive watched/listened to about 10 interviews now, and he 100% has my vote.

I come from a long line of fair skinned African Americans and it's about our lineage and DNA not what your eyes can see. Go read a more informed book, or speak to someone with black family history! Once Jim Crow began, it was all down hill for Blacks in the U.S. until the Civil Rights movement. While the Civil Rights Movement certainly did not solve Black folks' problems, it did help make daily living easier (in general) and it did establish various rights for Blacks and others in the country.

You pronounced his first name "Viv-ake", his parents immigrated from India, he was born in raised in Ohio. He went to Harvard and has a degree in biology and then got a law degree too from Yale, he's the smartest candidate by far
I remember when I got to meet Vivek Ramaswamy when he came to my university. He was probably the smartest and most well-spoken speaker that was brought to talk to us and he seems like he would make a good candidate for president.

He is very well spoken in the means of articulation, responsive sharpness and knowledge to drive/support his ideas backed by data/statistics or previous related events. Vivek has an amazing ability to retain facts and use them in a cohesive way to make his point clear. I have never heard him be reduced to name calling or descend to character slurs to rebut someone's argument. Instead he challenges opponents to find the fault in what he has said. I have yet to see anyone rebut his facts, they to a person try to talk over his and continue to attack him personally instead of explaining why they think he is wrong. It is like their only game plan when they can not answer where his info is wrong and are stuck gasping, like a fish out of water, for a contradiction that will hold water, they sift to name calling or charging that he can't possibly understand the narrative. After all, all he has on his side is facts. 🙄

As an American of African descent (Mom was mixed and Dad was black) I must say a majority of issues in the black community derive from the victim mentality. The moment you shed that you can thrive if you truly want to, and I mean truly want to. I am the first 6 figure earner by 30 in my families recent history (last 100 years or so), and I attribute that to the mentality I was raised with. Nobody is holding me back but me.
Have said this all my life, people will always judge you by your inner mirror. If you want to project yourself as a pseudo victim, then I will in every way treat you as such.
