Have you tested with kill-a-watt meter (or something like that) or did you just regurgitate the material manufacturer sent to you.
That's ridiculous but unsurprising. I'd be more concerned with the Revolution's basic function as a toaster. I'm told it's faster, but we've had toasters for over 100 years now, and the laws of physics have stayed the same. Is the Revolution really taking less time to toast a slice of bread, or is it just scorching the exterior of it, leaving the inside chewy? And what of that panini? Is it in there long enough for the cheese to melt? And just who is this for? People who want a warmed-up muffin for breakfast, but don't want to get a microwave? Or a $30 toaster oven? This review doesn't mention any of those concerns, but a lack of WiFi connectivity is a problem? In a TOASTER?

I think its actually a good thing that it doesnt connect to some kind of cloud that is offline in 5 years so i have to put a fully working thing in the trash like other smart stuff... Now get rid of the display and you have a good product.

I've had the R180 version for about 3 weeks now. I can't complain about how it's toasted regular bread. But frozen waffles have been a different story. On level 3 one has come out perfect but the other one was very soft. Didn't know which one was correct so I tried it again on 3 and this time both were soft and under done. Tried again on level 4 and one was good but one was slightly over done.
Lol who in their whole mind, would spend their wallet on an overly expensive Toaster?
Just get a generic excellent one, toasts just about pretty much better than this overrated screen technology toasters

An Innovation in toasters would be a reduction in energy use! Without a top cover to preserve heat a Toaster uses almost twice the Energy really required for the process. This toaster is not the Revolution I am waiting for.
Sounds expensive, I'll just take a $20 toaster that works

With a top cover you can't reduce air humidity fast enough in such a confined space, which is necessary to make a toast. Bigger toasters don't have that problem

Hi fantastic video can you let me know the voltage is it 110/240 50/60 I am asking it’s cheaper imports from the US to the UK in the UK they are asking under £600
Next version should have Wi-fi and FB and insta, so that you can do social media stuff on your toaster while your toast is being prepared
And maybe make a Pro version which has a sim card slot so that ya can use it as a phone too
And later on, if at all the device feels heavy, remove the toaster making part

Is this one better than the last version? I've seen a lot of negative reviews concerning its safety and longevity.
Here is another feature I would love to see. Me and my GF prefer different level of toasts but we have breakfast together. A neat feature would be to have the possibility to have different toast levels in each slot. Perhaps even different choices for different bread types. That would be magnificent.

Maybe I missed it but I didn't see the ability to program it to start toasting at a specific time. That would be the feature I would want. I could care less about adding pictures, calendars, or any of that stuff.
And how exactly would the bread get into the toaster? A timer is pointless (as is this whole pointless device), because If you set a timer to start at any point in the future, you still need to be present to put the bread in, just like an other toaster!
