- So yeah the only reason i left this like it was still unresolved was because I thought it fit better like this. I started this and thought with whatever 3x06 had would help me finish this and it did but im glad that Eddie forgave him i thought theyd drag it out a few more episodes.

I feel like we all will be screaming soon! Lol! I was getting excited with Carla telling Eddie to follow his heart and not Christopher’s. Then I could’ve sworn I saw Eddie staring at Buck while being blurred in episode 5x01. I could be going crazy at this point. Lol! Then Eddie looks at Buck before and after announcing he’s leaving, and Oliver saying that Buck and Taylor’s relationship will have a wrench thrown in it and Buck will have a hard time dealing with Eddie leaving. Sounds like it’s leading to it right? Does to me, but now Fox sold the rights to USA, and I don’t think they are queer friendly.

"BECAUSE THAT'S ALL YOU SEE!!" is a quote I always found annoying because I felt like the 118 was only looking at the lawsuit from their perspective as well, neither side was looking at both, so for Eddie to insinuate Buck was the only one looking at his own side of the issue was dumb imo (really, I feel Buck actually had the best understanding of both sides, tbh). Also this storyline for Buck would've been a great place for the writers to show Buck's angry and hurt side. Athena always refers to the Buckley's as having hearts of gold, but during this specific storyline, I feel it would've been fair for Buck to be the most angry out of everyone and yet he remained chill (aside from suing everyone, but given everything that he shared with his lawyer, it seemed fair for him to do that too), it's easy for Bobby to say "he has us, even if he doesn't believe that right now" early on in season 3, but then to have none of them, literally none of them, go and support Buck and help him figure out his next steps, just proves that words are only words until they're acted upon. Ending the season with him feeling lonely worked well for me because I feel he was progressively feeling more and more lonely as season 3 went on, and it started with his attempt to return to work. I have never felt so many emotions for a fictional character before, but Evan Buckley is my favorite, anyway my rant is over.

Oh my God, I thought the exact same thing when I saw that. I even replayed the scene to better see what had happened because I didn't understand. I even thought, "Did Eddie walk away because he felt pain by the street fights?" But that didn't make much sense to me because of the face he made, and also the fast way he left. I think he really did that because he's scared of how he feels about Buck.

@@weslleyluzzi I think it's both. They just had him grunt to give that mixed message of his physical pain and the emotional response together to bait us. They know exactly what they're doing

@@juliosoto8729 yeah it was like buck was wondering why Eddie was pushing him away... Only confirms my theory that it was a push away cause of his feelings not cause of the pain
This may be the best telling of how two people, who thought they were one thing in life up till now, discover that they are more than a label, and capable of more. I think, at the moment, the characters are in the process of discovering all of this for themselves, but are not quite in it TOGETHER. They are both trapped in their own heads and need some sort of sign of reassurance from the other. I think they each fear that they are the only one with these feelings - it has yet to be truly reflected without doubt of misunderstanding from the other. YET.

Exactly! They're scared to take that "next step" for fear of being alone in those feelings and thus ruining the beautiful relationship they currently have. But I mean, I think they've been through quite a bit more than most friends and understand it's deeper than friendship.
"Us" is definitely Buck and Eddie not Buck and the firehouse. "Us" is Christopher suffering, Eddie being mad, all of it.

En realidad, los dos están solteros. Ya fue confirmado en una entrevista con uno de los guionistas o algo así, que la chica esa solo va a aparecer en pocos episodios y que además, su personaje no está pensado como interés romántico. De hecho, a Lena (porque así se llama este nuevo personaje femenino que aparece en la tercera temporada), la utilizaron para introducir el tema del club ilegal de pelea, algo que Eddie utiliza como elemento catártico (para expresar toda esa ira/enojo/tristeza/decepción/etc que seguramente tiene contenida desde hace muchos años).

So basically the quick version buck got hurt & Bobby was scared to have him back on the team and Buck found out that’s why he wasn’t back and he was very upset so filed a lawsuit against the city which meant no contact with the team which really upset Eddie (hope that explains it well I’m not good at explaining things)
