The Pax Virus (Serenity Explored)

G-23 Paxilon Hydrochlorate or "Pax" (Latin for "Peace") was a chemical compound added to the air processors in order to pacify the populace on the planet Miranda, by the Union of Allied Planets, in the 2005 sci-fi thriller, Serenity, directed by Joss Whedon. Unfortunately, it turned a percent of the population to turn into highly aggressive cannibalistic people, who had lost their minds and were now known as 'Reavers'.
