Dang when I played through the game I just would do all the collectibles and side missions during the story because I didn’t want it to be over 😂😂 I ended up having everything else that there was to do before I even finished the main story
This was the first platinum I got back in 2018 as a new PlayStation user! Now with almost 20 platinums as an average player, it’s still one that will be special to me! Can’t wait to watch this video! Keep up the great work!

I agree that this is definitely an easy platinum but it took longer than it should’ve for me because I didn’t do any of the crimes during the main story so I had over 100 left when I finished the game
I was in the same boat. I had to fight crimes for over 6 hours lol I just edited down for the vid of course

This was one of the few platinums I’ve done where I truly felt accomplished in the end in a great way. It was straightforward and easy to understand. Definitely good for beginner trophy hunters!

I earned my platinum by saving the last trophy I needed to get was to visit Uncle Bens grave. Not only did it feel more emotional but I love that it’s literally “With Great Power…” “Be Greater”. Perfect 😭

I really liked where you had to defeat crime for each sector, it actually felt like being spiderman- just waiting around for something to happen so you could swoop in and save the day.
That’s a great way to look at it! I found it to be a lot right at the end. I think I should’ve spread the crimes out throughout the game to keep it fresh.
When I was doing this again on PS5, I found it much easier if you do all the crimes of a given type when they come up instead of saving them all for the end. That way you can take breaks between crimes and doing other stuff.
That’s what I should’ve done honestly. I’m playing Miles Morales now and doing side content mixed in with main missions
i enjoyed the game so much that i did all the side quest and collected all the items Before continuing on to the main mission and next thing i noticed, i have only 3 more trophies to do to get platinum lol Such a masterpiece

The trophy’s in this games are so good because you unlock almost all of them by playing the game

I remember having the same goal and that was to get the platinum trophy but then I spent too much of my resources on the suit mods and couldn't get the achievement for getting all suits and made me play the whole story all over again. It's still a pretty good game.
You can get everything in a single playthrough. All suit mods, all upgrades, all suits. Just gotta do all the tasks

God Of War was actually game of the year, in 2018 spider-man just took over a hundred game developers saying it was THEIR game of the year and slapped that title on its Game Of The Year edition. Although I do believe back then I would’ve agreed, now I don’t know which of the two I love more💀

Also been playing spiderman 1 ps4 for the first time and by far spider man the past decade can be easily debated lmao to say all of it was perfect is blind lmao. Dont get me wrong Spiderman ps4 is really good about to beat it and platinum trophy it but I see why God of war and Red dead 2 is better imo.
Yeah I’ll be honest I was fooled by the “game of the year” edition. Ironically Red dead 2 is my next video and I’ve Platinum’d GOW2018 as well. RDR2 is most deserving imo
I recommend you to go for Metal Gear Solid 3. The only bad thing is that you will need a PS3. I don't know if it is included in the new PS PLUS Membership. Congrats tho

It was funny hearing him saying that his one nitpick was the large number of repetitive crimes (20) in each district you have to complete. Yes, they can be repetitive, and the number is large ... if you leave them until after you finish the game. You are *supposed* to complete these crimes when they are introduced so you can earn Crime Tokens so you can purchase suits/gadgets/upgrades/etc - this also spaces out these crimes so you're not doing 20 per district after the game is over.
Seeing his map after he had completed the main story with 0/20 for each crime type just made me shake my head. Like seeing him before the final battle and he had so many skill unused skill points and hadn't gotten any skill in the leftmost tree. Seriously, who plays this game like this?

How do you follow for Trophies to collect them without spoiling them how games for you?
I usually look at PSNProfiles to make sure there's no missables and if not, then I just do the story then go back to the cleanup and look at the extra trophies. That way, the story isn't spoiled for me
So I just got the game not so long ago and I’ve found out all the crimes and outposts aren’t that time consuming if your doing it as you play. Ofc you had a goal but dang doing all the last must of been a pain

Hmmm I can’t remember exactly. I know you need the photos of the landmarks, but I think I just lumped it all together
God, I hated the Taskmaster challenges! The rest of the game was pure perfection, but having to do new game+ for the remaining suits really dampened my experience... I know, it's a skill issue on my part
The majority of playthroughs of this game I have watched have had the players spend all of Act 1 and most of Act 2 looking at suits/gadgets that they want to get but can't because they require challenge tokens but the game hasn't introduced them yet. So when the Taskmaster challenges finally appear they are happy to see them.
The combat challenges are just like one level of a base but there's a time limit. You should already have done lots of stealth by this point. Bombs are different but it's just choosing the fastest path, throwing and webbing. The drones are the ones I hate the most - after playing this game many times I think I've only gotten gold/ultimate on a drone challenge one time.
