A long time ago, people forgot about God and were living in a selfish, violent way. This made God sad, but there was one man who still followed Him-Noah. God told Noah to build a huge ark because He was going to flood the earth to clean away the wickedness. Noah trusted God, built the ark with his family, and gathered two of every animal.
It rained for 40 days and nights, but Noah, his family, and the animals were safe. When the rain stopped, God promised to never flood the earth again and gave a rainbow as a sign of that promise.
