This was definitely in the top 10 for most meaning wins of my life. I was 14 and had just moved to Philly area, as you could imagine the kids there didn’t like that I was a proud cowboys fan very much and I got a lot of shit for it. That first year trying to fit in was rough for me but I had this team to look forward to every week. I remember coming back to school after thanksgiving when they whooped us and I got crazy shit for it, not just friendly banter but legitimate personal insults and outward hostility. This game shut up those pricks in such a satisfying way you couldn’t even imagine. Still so sad this team didn’t get the ending they deserved, the cowboys will eventually finally win a Super Bowl in my life but even that team will not be as special and sentimental to me as 2014 was. As the years have gone on I’ve come to peace with it though, they didn’t need the trophy for me to see them for what they really were: champions
Man that 2014 team had a shot Romo Bryant were never the same after that heartbreaker in green bay personally I think they got a bad call si sad for them
That call stopped us from winning the SB,I have no doubt about it, everyone knew Dez caught it...one of the worst calls in cowboy history...it still pisses me off... Romo was a Jedi.
My dad commit suicide this night. we were supposed to watch this game together. thank you for posting this game this cowboys win was the only thing that made me smile that night. i felt like they won it for him
