I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.
I think what makes the battery die quick is if you use any EQ editor on your music app. Because there's a dB limit and beat limit, so if you try modifying the sound it will pass the limit set and it will cause it to shut down. I stopped using the equalizer in my Spotify and the speaker works fine.
with that cheapest price of Mi 16w I will choose that one over the JBL flip that is triple the price, the sound is just very identical if you ask me and sometimes the JBL even sound soggy for me though it is a little bit more bassy, I still go for the Mi

Hi Neptali , the mic placed above the speaker to record best audio possible , I don't use the camera mic. The audio test proof JBL flip 5 sound better and louder , it's a facts.
Already using Mi 16 watt speaker and trust me simply go for it. Video misleads somehow I guess , the radiator of speaker is in front from where you recorded. Speakers are on other side.
Either it has good battery pack but the audio quality is not good. Or the battery pack is not that good but it has superb audio. You choose which one : )
For a price almost twice as low, I would always choose to buy two Xiaomi speakers and tie them into a saraund sound, with minimal surcharge I think Xiaomi is the most popular music for the money spent. Jbl is good, but it's just too expensive.🤷🤷🤷

okay for starters the flip 5 in my country costs 85 dollars and the mi costs 26 dollars ...now in any means im not saying the mi is better than the jbl ....but considering the price its way better ...i just bought it few days ago and my god....the sound and quality coming out of it is not of 26 dollars way more ...the caviact is that battery life is not as they advertised...you will get 9hrs at the max...final verdict just go for it

I had a flip 4 from 2018-2020 the battery died after 2 years so even branded products can fail fast it was the battery that was worn out while i charged it 100-200 times max Now i have 2 sony speakers (xb41 and xb21) and i have 0 problems with the xb41 that i already have 2.5 years My xb 21 has 1 small problem it needs a at least 5V 2Amp charger otherwise it doesnt charge
xiomi by far, but if you want something smaller, go for anker soundcore 3. Avoid tronsmart at any cost, there are a huge cuantity of negative reviews due to a lot failures on the built in amplifier, bluetooth antenna and battery issues.

You out the Xiaomi with the speakers facing backwards. That's not ethical and honest review. I can't even called it a review. I have them both and I can tell you that the Xiaomi is my preferred while they give me the option and opportunity to control the sound and adjust it ASI like for my hearing. MI is also using more better BT protocols and newest connection. No lag on gaming and watching movies as well.
Jbl is still the best,ngl I have the jbl flip 5 and I think it’s one of the best portable Bluetooth speakers!!!! But if your on a tight budget the other one it relly good
Hi Anupama , JBL have mono audio , good bass , clear vocal and loud audio. Mi 16 have stero audio , good bass and ok vocal . I would get Mi 16 for the price and flip 5 for clear vocal.

Hi Nico , I was balancing camera and didn't noice the speaker facing backward. I used to favor JBL speakers , after clip 4 (expensive but offer few features ) , Soundcore mini 3 same price and offer lot more useful features. Sometime I am biased without knowing.

Hi Tushar , I did make the verdict clear get the Flip 5 for Bass ,clear audio and loud audio. if you don't want send £90 on speaker get the Mi 16W , Mi 16W offer clear and loud audio but not much bass. Hope this helps.

That's never the Mi sound at 50% and 100%. Have used both and would go for Mi again and again and again. The Mi sounds super cool with great bass and sound balance. U wouldn't be close at 100% plus the bass can't be perceived in your video. Perhaps your device or maybe my fine. Mi has extra bass option which makes it a perfect challenger if not better..... From my experience of both

This comparison video seems one sided. Its clear that this person is in favor of jbl. And i agree with others that this review is not acurate. You point the jbl speakers directly in front of ur camera while the Mi speakers was pointed backwards the camera so the sound and clarity of the music is not that good. I guess ill chose the mi speakers over JBL that has a very high end price point.

Qulity sound and Bass
This comparison video seems one sided. Its clear that this person is in favor of jbl. And i agree with others that this review is not acurate. You point the jbl speakers directly in front of ur camera while the Mi speakers was pointed backwards the camera so the sound and clarity of the music is not that good. I guess ill chose the mi speakers over JBL that has a very high end price point.
My ears are both on the speakers but my eyes is on Pathfinder. :D

Sin dudas Xiaomi Mi Portable será menos potente 16W vs 20W, pero es estéreo y cuenta con lluetooth 5.0 y auxiliar.
En este caso no hay diferencia que sea estero y el otro mono.
Aparte con lo que el flip 5 puedes comprar 2 Xiaomi y te sobra dinero y la experiencia es genial
@@LeonardoMartinez. En éste caso, el genio que hizo el video puso al Xiaomi con el sonido hacia atrás, por eso no se escucha con la calidad y nitidez que realmente tiene. Un fiasco. Sin dudas el Mi Portable es mejor.
@@Electrico-X64 aun con el xiaomi hacia atras yo sentia que el xiaomi sonaba mejor en el video, el otro se escucha parecido a mi bocina generica sin EQ y el otro se le escuchan mas bajos aunque menos agudos por estar hacia atras
@@sundering8617de hecho no, no importa que en el otro se escuche más el bajo, importa la calidad del bajo que también se nota en los golpes del bombo, ya para oídos más entrenados esto es perceptible mucho más
