I never thought a company could outdo Convoy's budget friendly S2, yet Wurkkos has come through with this FC11. As many others have already said, Trail Trek finds the best values for lights. Thanks again for your extensive review Richy, looking forward to the light band results. 👍
Thanks mate. I'm finishing up a review of the new Xtar VC8 plus then I'm away for a few days but should get to look at the band soon. I love it when I find a bargain light, I still have my S2+ and it's great but this one is very hard to beat.
Very thorough review as with all your videos, you do a great job! Weight with and without battery would be a great data point as well as mfg claimed vs actual lumen output. Thank you for the unbiased information.
Very good point mate I should have put that in. I used to do that but seem to have skipped this in recent stuff sorry about that. I'm trying to get a way to measure lumen output but I'd have to build a test sphere, I can measure lux but it's the lumens we need to know so we can test against the claims. When I first tested this it didn't feel like 1300 but it might be the tint eventually I'll try to get a way to test them out. Although on the side by side beamshot images it doesn't look so bad on output. Thank you very much for taking the time to comment, it helps me improve and I will keep doing unbiased stuff. I have turned down multiple offers for lights when asked to provide 'favorable'' reviews. And this will continue. We need a sensible trusted review we can refer to not just another advertisement! Light arrived today. So far I’m impressed. It arrived in excellent condition and battery charged. It appears to smaller and weighs less then the convoy. I really like the ramp mode.
Excellent mate, what about the tint and how it looks? That was one thing I think they nailed with this, then great price and all the features you need, ramping is the future for lights it's just so intuitive.
The tint is really good. The lens and orange peel on this one is better then a few of my convoys. The battery also impresses me. The ramp mode blinking once when at the top and bottom of power is nice because I would keep holding for more lol. A few times I reached for the power button and touched the charge port. I’m adjusting to that easily. This light carries well in any of my pockets. I’m looking forward to learning more from you.
A bit late to the party. After watching the Cyanski M1R vid, I noticed this one had slipped my attention. I only own 1/6 of the flashlights you used but have wanted at least 4/6 at some point... I wanted to get FC11 'cause I love LH351D emitter at higher CCT. Alas, I decided to jump on the 519A wagon and currently waiting for a Convoy S21B with 519a 4500K. If it's not as bright as LH351D I'm going for an FC11. Great job as always. I still enjoy your trekking while "Pathfinder" is playing.
The FC11 is a really good deal. At its price you get a lot to enjoy and the Samsung emitter does a decent job. Wurkoss keep making value lights that I want and when I get them they surprise me every time. IF you can get one on a sale its a good light to own and I'm yet to have any of my wurkoss break down on me.
I was going to buy one of these on Wednesday but then they said a new version is on the way called ts21s. So I'm holding off but I've hear lots of good things about it. Wendy do you think of it compared to the astrolux EC01? I like that light but it can sometimes look a little green. I'm super impressed with what wurkkos are doing right now. Thanks for the recommendation I like getting these from actual users of the light rather than advertising.
It goes against most reviews but i find mine very underwhelming,its not as bright as some of my cheapo china torches which are ment to be about 600 or 800 lumens.Very well built but i feel like i got a dud🤷♂️
I think that might be possible as mine is pretty good and the people i recommended it to who also bough these tell me they loves theirs. Its a shame that yours is poor performing. i have to be honest and say mine is great im glad i bought it.
try a high quality battery could be the cheap battery hindering its performance... Otherwise it might just be that this light is pretty floody and not high candela... i think on max its around 5000 candela... just a touch more than a olight sr2 baton.

Try the wurkkos TS21....the clip you like and 3500 lm. With a tri-emitter set up....A great light!!!
