Oh speaking of Thyssenkrupp Floridianelevators I stayed once again at the La Quinta Inn in Douglasville Georgia which is near my old house where Ems318 also lives somewhere not far away from either locations anyways when I up to the 5th floor where I stayed for one night one of the red hydraulic elevators physically malfunction the door was literally wide open I thought it broke on impact I told the lady at the front desk about it, and sure enough after I said something it worked again. 😅 And then one of the elevators probably will break soon the door was screeching when it shut and then it was slightly low on hydraulic oil because I have been on elevators where it made an awful grunting sound like it was straining, it struggled to come to the 5th floor, but wow that’s crazy Kone would replace all the original Thyssenkrupp/Dover equipment that isn’t hardly 20 years old, but then again these Thyssenkrupp elevators I rode are 15 years old they aren’t in the best shape but they still run okay considering they get used a lot, since there are 2 of them, I had a family reunion to attend is another reason why I was up there recently. 🤔
That's so bizare to see a ThyssenDover get replaced. Those were probably expected to last longer than these not because Kone makes bad elevators but the ThyssenDovers seemed to be designed to last longer. I can see why Florida wants to keep their elevators nice and new but this seems to far.
Cmon Hilton Garden Inn!! Yk better than that!! Just killed 2 18-19 year olds that could've easily been 20!! Businesses in FL need to WAKE UP!! At least the cab is nice. This is the USELESS WASTE OF MONEY that were thrown in the garage Mod I've ever seen in the 2020's history!!
How will they repurpose those machine rooms? Those new elevators are MRLs (Machine Room Less).
I have no clue....but I'd definitely be interested in knowing what they use them for now
Extra storage and extreme weather shelters.
It’s very extreme to do this. The outer doors were left original?
Yup, and that's all that was left original!
Soon, I want to work for Schindler or KONE elevator.

R.I.P another mod/replacement.
They replaced it with Ecodisc??? I thought it was getting an Innovation upgrade tbh…
Yup! EVERYTHING was replaced!
That’s sad we lost more custom impulses…
They’re becoming rarer

I stayed at that hotel. The old elevators were awful and slow
Not worthy excitement but kinda cool at the same time because This KONE Has an KSS Fixtures and not an boring cringeovation
This sucks. At least it runs ok but I don’t think it’s going to last that long.
It comes with hand sanitizer

Residence Inn is actually owned by Marriott, but otherwise, this is a completely accurate statement
@@FloridianElevators Oh yea that's what I meant. But still, really RI by Marriott??
Oh god these are horrible
I am disgusted
