Thank you so much. It was my first time doing this sort of thing so I’m happy that some people are enjoying it ( and despite me profusely sweating out my sun tan lotion haha). You are going to have a great time! Looking forward to seeing your videos too!
May i ask if magic mushrooms were as available on gili air as on gili t? I watched your gili air video first and you made no mention of it there. It's been awhile since this video was posted so i hope you see/reply to this comment
I don’t recall seeing it being sold or advertised on Gili air, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it is. It wasn’t something I was looking for, so perhaps I just wasn’t paying much attention. And it’s been a while now so I can’t recall. On Gili T there were so many little booths, signs, shacks, and people that were advertising it. So I’d say it is more prevalent there. Sorry not the most helpful answer.
We booked online in advance. I think it’s a good idea to ensure your spot at a specific time, but it’s entirely up to you. You could go straight to the port and book in person, but there are only so many seats on each sailing that you risk having to wait… And depending on which season you are going, it could be very busy. I was there in November which is considered the rainy season and things aren’t quite so busy. The company we used was “Wahana Virendra”. If I recall correctly we booked on their website, but I’m not certain now…. There are many websites that sell tickets to and from the Gili’s, we just found the best prices that suited our schedule. Some people have a bad experience if the water is rough, so they prefer a larger boat. A company called Eka Jaya has the largest boat. Reviews are bad for all companies. Boats are not as maintained as you would expect.
All the fruits, vegies and meat are produce from straight to Farmers, that's why are so cheap. Many of them from lombok or tradisional market at there. U should visit lombok, the province like 30 years ago Bali
I would love to visit Lombok, it looks so wild and beautiful. I think it’s probably best to visit during the dry season though because I saw a lot of rain there in November. Can you recommend some areas in Lombok? What must I see when I am there?
@@NikoTravels if you like hiking, you can hike mount Rinjani, there are many beautiful beach like tanjung an, mandalika, kuta, Senggigi or visit sumba also beautiful beach and culture. More culture you can visit Java with Ferry from Bali and adventure with train to see many beautiful nature, bromo, Ijen, tumpak sewu waterfalls, kapas biru waterfalls, Borobudur temple, Prambanan temple, Semarang, Karimunjawa island, bandung, ujung kulon national park, krakatoa, and jakarta. Jakarta have also 1000 island like gilis they are part of 6th district of Jakarta
I can’t say for sure, and it did not attend any. But after a bit of reading, the suggestion is to check a current lunar calendar to see when the full moons will occur and then watch the Gili islands Facebook pages to see if they discuss anything. Sorry, no precise answer.
Love Gili's❤❤❤ Looking forward to see videos about Meno and Air!
The turtles are coming! 🐢
This is such a great vlog. You’re so easy to watch. Hi from Australia. We are headed there in July. ❤

Thank you for the suggestions. I will do some research for my next trip to Indonesia. Such a beautiful country!
Can you tell me the dates of Full moon party at gili trawang...??

May I ask what month did you go there?
This would have been late November!
Why no night market and eat parrot fish or coral trout 😮
Next time! Too much to see and do and not enough time!
