    Good, comprehensive review. Glad to see that Turkish Airlines is still serving decent meals in Economy Class. They really are the airline to choose if meal service is important to you. Take care and have a great week.

    I was flying SIN-KIX via HKG on Cathay a few years back and i saw a similar feature for finding your connecting gate. It didn’t work there either, so we relied on the transfer information boards which were plentiful at Hong Kong airport. As a side note, I said i would wait 15 or 18 months after Dec 2020 to see how the new and improved MAX performs. Low and behold, not much noteworthy at all, so i’m more comfortable now to get on a MAX. I flew on one before the grounding and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The cabin is so nice, with mood lighting, large pivot bins and massive windows and it was whisper quiet on takeoff despite sitting next to the LEAP Engine. I haven’t flown an Airbus neo yet, so i’m looking forward to see if it can please me more than a MAX.

    I had a trip from RAK to IST through 7m8
    One of the most anxious trip of my life, however the trip was smooth and turbulence free.

    Great video, thanks for sharing. Flew Aer Lingus EWR-DUB and connecting gate information was available on the IFE. All other flights i’ve been on it hasn’t worked. Virgin Atlantic, Delta, Air France & KLM all announced it over PA but it didn’t show any info on IFE.

    Nice review, i have not been on TA, but i have been on a sun wing MAX from YYZ-CUN witch was a very good flight and quiet too, i would recommend flying on this aircraft cause of the quiet cabin and smooth ride quality.

    Worth mentioning that additional snacks and drinks will be served and amenity kits will be provided on long hauls. One annoying thing is the lack of universal power outlet.

    The winglets aren’t a way to know it’s a max aircraft. Sent I can’t show pics, I’ll suggest you go and lookup Alaska Airlines 737-900 series. They are not Max’s and have the split winglets. I’m thinking that the 737-800 have the same as the 900’s. The major difference between the max and all other 737’s is the chevrons on the aft portion of the engines. These are only on the max family aircraft.

    • @LithuaniaExplained
      @LithuaniaExplained 2 года назад +3

      Look closer. The winglets of the MAX are slightly different from NG split winglets.

    • @Jack3md
      @Jack3md 2 года назад +1

      I don't see why though. Almost two years since the grounding was lifted and not a single MCAS related incident, and based off the fact global regulators had almost two years to scrutinize the hell out of it, more than any other aircraft in aviation history. Surely people don't think it'll crash again, right?

    • @TheGodfatherUk
      @TheGodfatherUk 2 года назад +1

      @@Jack3md understand your view but if they skimped on that how do you know anything else might have been skipped on and could have been missed?
      I love flying but I'd honestly hesitate if I saw the word max

    • @Jack3md
      @Jack3md 2 года назад +4

      @@TheGodfatherUk That would be uncalled for, considering how long it was grounded. It literally has been the most scrutinized plane in history. Add that to the fact the 737 alone is an incredibly safe plane to begin with. With the changes made to MCAS, it is now physically impossible for those type of crashes to occur again. It would be silly to not want to fly on one, but I get it, the average person may not understand all that.

    • @TheGodfatherUk
      @TheGodfatherUk 2 года назад

      @@Jack3md 737 as a product is safe. The variants of the 737 however is what people will be hung up about for a good while and its fully understandable given history.
      You can't say to families who lost people "don't worry all is well now.. We've properly checked it".. It just doesn't hold up does it.
      Neither points which we are both making are wrong. It's the passengers personal feeling at the end isn't it. If I had absolutely no option but to go on a max I would of course get on to continue my journey but my mind would immediately be racing to those events.
      Thankfully the destinations I go to are long haul and when it's domestic flights there's a good selection to choose between (aircraft)

    • @nickolliver3021
      @nickolliver3021 2 года назад

      @@TheGodfatherUk Why would you think they would have skipped on and could have missed something else? You know they went through it head to toe. Just because of those tragic events doesn't mean your feelings would suddenly goo racing because its a max. if they missed something it wouldn't be flying as that item may go wrong but it hasn't so were all good
