Okay, noob airsoft tech here. I installed the maxx nozzle 21.25mm and it’s getting great performance…besides the issues…I only went with that size because it was closes to the “m4/m16” stat posted on evike. Should I be dropping it to a 21.00 mm nozzle?
@travisnguyen3374 Nozzle length was dropped from 21.4 to 21mm to aid with feeding while also still maintaining a good airseal. No FPS loss but better feeding ability.
At this rate of fire, there's 0 need to trim the tappet. Excess friction from tons of various sources can make you need to do so, but if you eliminate these, with a decent strength tappet spring you're good for 35rps
Hey mate, why didn’t you do bevel-pinion shimming & motor height adjustment at the start of the shimming process? No criticism, just trying to learn! Cheers.

really like the video
just wanted to ask, why and when would you trim the tappet plate fin? ive seen other techs do it
All about timing, getting that tappet back to loaded position as early as possible. Important for high-speed stuff

you mostly want to trim it when you have a dsg build

You do enough of the same gearbox with the same gearset you get to know where the gears should sit.
21,00mm nozzle? Isn't stock one around 21,4?
Sure is, but seals perfectly with 21mm. Gives more time for bb feeding
What was the tappet size ? Whats the amount the you cut ??
Thats far from being the perfect AEG 😂
