Man you just woke up a core memory, when I was 10 I was on a boat fishing with family in Canada, we were going down this narrow valley and some locals started shooting at our boat from the cliff sides. Got the fuck out of there real quick lol.

I thought I just let you and other viewers know, you can, if you want "turn down" the narration so it's less. I'm not 100% that you can turn in off though.
Narration is one of the main interest in Kona... But the thing is personally I think it's less well done than in the first game
Pretty cool as a Canadian to see these games based in Canada. That rifle in the boat looks more like a lee enfield than a mosin but I couldnt tell for sure. Also if you noticed the handgun was chambered in .38 special and the shells were .357 magnum, you can actually shoot .38s out of a .357 but not the other way around. I think that got mixed up.
The revolver appears to be be a Smith and Wesson model 27 chambered in 357/38 special with a 5 in to 5 1/2 in if I have to guess it looks to long to be the 4 and to short to be the 6 and half inch barrel and I think was a tipo to
The graphics were waayy too nice for this to be based in Canada
Also Canada was colonized by the French not the British.

In the states you can take the ashes but some of the urns are very expensive and so is the cremation. Yet cheaper than a full funeral

Cremation and putting the ashes of the deceased into them is a thing in the states. I actually have the ashes of my doggo from a few years back,( still miss him more than ever) and my girls doggo from when she was younger.. And I used to live in a house with a dumbwaiter,when we were small enough we used to sit in it and have someone lower or raise us to other floors,it was operated with ropes and weights. It was so much fun when I was a young lad!😊

To answer your question Fisk, Yes the intro you saw, was a reflection from the First game to give you insight into where things stand in the second game. And yes that is a lee enfield.
Kona 1 was fantastic. Felt like Fargo the game. Kona 2 needed more marketing so more people know about this fantastic series
USA: My brother was cremated a year ago. They just handed us his ashes in a plastic box (we hadn’t shelled out for an urn.) After that, it’s entirely up to us what we do with the ashes.

As a Portuguese, everytime i see the name of this game, i laugh my ass off. Kona ( with a C) its a "slang" in Portuguese for the female genetalia, and they both sound exactly the same.

Fisk, if you really want a cabin, and i mean REALLY want one, come move to Alaska, you can buy a bit of land anywhere like in front of a lake or a stream, and you can build it using the forest woods, there are little to no neighbors but if you dont plan on living in it year round, may i suggest planting bear traps on the INSIDE of your cabin where the windows and doors are, they do get broken into some times but not often i'd say, the summers are beautiful as well as the winters, or even better, build a log cabin ontop of a trailer so you can move it to any place in the world.

The opening title screen music just sets the vibe of the game sooo well and just gives me the feels! Great job devs and fantastic (mediocre) content Mr Fisk, thoroughly enjoyed this one! 😊 P.S. I can see fisk moving to his dream log cabin in the wilderness, surviving on shooting and eating squirrels and other rodents. Sneaking around with a davy crockett raccoon hat on.
Maybe even boots made out of that poor injured wolf he had digging through his garbage for scraps that he snuck up on and savagely killed....
That room with the pool table in it is the same as American pie when stifflers mum does finch haha
I appreciate that you explained what you did wrong with the wolf. This is a game so who cares. But IRL so many morons decide to put themselves in situations they have no place in being, with wild animals than paying the price for it, that it is good of you to say so.

In the states you may keep the ashes of your loved ones. We had my grandfather’s ashes in a displayable urn but buried him eventually. But my boss has both his parents on display at his house. Im not sure how I feel about that to be honest. Part of me understands it, but another part of me says you need to move on.

As for cremation, I have urns of my parents and grand parents in the house! In fact they are in wooden boxes, it's 100% of the remains. I am originally from Quebec but moved to Ontario. :)
