    U wanna keep some fluid in there for the gears

    Dude... Go back and throw some power steering fluid back in the rack from that looped hose. There's a hydraulic seal inside the rack that will go bad if there is no fluid. You could disassemble the rack and cut that seal, but that's a whole other project. What I did on my DA3 was loops the lines to the OEM reservoir. Super easy And everything still looks oem.

      I don't know why more people don't just loop the line up to the reservoir like you did. Smartest thing to do so you can still add more fluid in the future. Plus it allows the pressure and any air in the rack to go somewhere.

      Ohh OK soo you would keep the return line that goes to the reservoir and just delete the pump?

    You need to fill the rack whit Grease!

    • @JomsF
      @JomsF 2 года назад

      Yeah, i also like to ask if its possible to remove all the fluids, belt, power lines, then just inject grease using the holes from the power lines, then just cover the holes with decent rubber, leave a very small hole for pressure to go out, not sure if it will work.. hope someone can enlighten me

      @Courtney Saunders I'm asking cause my rack is wide open. There's no loop. Was wondering if I just get the other parts if it would work good

      @Courtney Saunders I've had it for a month. I'm sure its been a while like this. Steering is good. Just at low speeds it's fucking sucks lol
