Hi Martyn, thank you for the fabulous series of videos. Could you make a video relating to cleansing the 1 minute CSV data for custom symbols? I get my data from Dukascopy (using tickstory), I've written a python script to adjust the daylight saving hours. However when I compare my equity graph to yours (indicator series - stochastic multi-symbol) it looks identical but mine on a downward trajectory that yours isn't, I've checked the charges and swap fees, but I think it may be related to the spread/unclean data.

IF (1) my broker allows trading of desired ETFs, (2) my broker receives and executes trades from MT5 via Order Copier, (3) I import desired ETF data using Custom Symbol > Web Page containing ETF symbols that update real-time, and (4) I use actual ETF symbol names in custom symbols I create in MT5... THEN could I use MT5 with EA built for those custom symbols to drive auto-trading via Order Copier to my Broker? (If yes, would such an EA only work on Desktop and not MLQ5 Virtual Server?)

The question is if it´s possible to mark specific candles (date + hour) using vertical lines, rectangles or any other form in historical candles and export those points to a csv file?

Sadly MT5 forces you to create synthetic symbols for EVERYTHING as they won't let you customize the spreads inside the program. This creates a lot of troubles for "bar by bar" optimizations in the daily time-frame. It's just mind boggling how they added a lot of advanced (and useless) stuff but forgot about one of the most important features.
Can you actually trade these custom symbols? Or is it only for backtesting?
