I wonder if the people who describe themselves as asexual are naturally ace or if it's actually an aversion to it based on their previous and current experiences. Like would they be into if they were pornstars, or no?
Hi! I'm ace and while I'm not in the porn industry, I think can answer your first question and how it applies to me. As far as we know, there is some correlation of sexuality to genes and DNA and such, but a lot of it has to do with our upbringing. As a young child, I was raised Christian and with this notion that all sex outside of marriage is completely terrible, and I'm sure that contributes to it, but I definitely wouldn't say it's an aversion. Asexuals can definitely have sex for their own, personal reasons, and that is entirely up to them, but it is something that is natural and has to do with brain development (asexuality is a spectrum, so it can fluctuate as you get older). I hope that makes sense and kinda answers your question!
i'd say some probably yes, some probably no. but i mean losing your sexual attraction to people after making it your job and it becoming so mundane to you would make a lot of sense, like at the end of the day, sex is pretty weird and unsexy if you think about it or have just copious amounts of it constantly. but there definitely are people that are and have always been asexual in the porn industry too.
It depends on the person, just like every spectrum on the lgbtq+ community, it’s nature and nurture, no matter how you are lgbtq+ it’s still valid. Sexual attraction ≠ sexual drive, so someone can enjoy sex without having sexual attraction. As someone on the asexuality spectrum, I hope this answers your questions ^^
Asexual people can be sex averse, but just being sex averse doesn‘t automatically make you asexual. Asexuality is so much more and the core of it is that if you are not sexually attracted to anyone (so you don‘t look at anyone and want to have sex with them) then you are asexual. The girl with the beige top just doesn‘t use the term properly.
@@rosettekalombo3072 it was probably an impulsive decision and she wasn’t thinking at the time, ya know??? and i mean yeah she did but i still feel bad because even if she wanted to change that and regretted it after she couldn’t change it anymore

Took a dark turn with the consent talk, which strengthens the point that just because they are being filmed doesn't mean it's all consensual. That female director is absolute dirt for setting that woman up. I have a feeling I know what company it is too.
the question about what’s the worst part of the job and everyone’s replies made me sad but also more aware of just how messed up society is. Like porn wouldn’t be a billion dollar industry if ppl didn’t like it so why judge and devalue the ppl who YOU decide to search up and watch?
The people who hate on it are probs the ones who consume it the most😒 Capitalism is selective with the professions they want people to profit one 🙄 LET THE PEOPLE LIVE!
There's a funny meme of someone enjoying a cake saying "Wow, this is delicious, who made it?" and the chef steps forward and the person says something like "You're a horrible human being and should be ashamed of yourself!" with the caption "this is what it's like to shame sex-workers." There's a lot of truth in that hypocrisy, that it's OK for people to enjoy it but not OK for people to make it. It really all comes down to all the stigmas, repression, and ignorance surrounding sex, often tangled up in millennia-old religious nonsense and stemming from our outdated instincts surrounding sexuality from when we were living in small-tribes. Back then sex was all about reproduction and women/children were seen as property/resources, so sleeping around indiscriminately was damaging to social coherence. None of it has any relevance to our modern society, and is actually quite damaging.
This is absolutely right, which is why porn should stopped being watched because it messes up people’s brains. It can cause people to view the opposite gender as objects and they sexualize them so much. It’s a huge problem that people don’t recognize
@@alanisnavas6323 Pretty much everything you said is wrong. There is no evidence that porn "messes up people's brains" and the problem of viewing other people as "sexual objects" long predates porn and is less of a problem now than it used to be.
@@jonathanhenderson9422 You know the reason why people watch porn? It’s because it soon become an addiction and that’s why children aren’t allowed to watch it either. Believe it or not, studies show that those who consume pornography more frequently have brains that are less connected, less active, and even smaller in some areas. Even when you get arousal, you release drug in your brain that helps your remember how good it felt. It messes up your life really because you can become less interested with sex because of it. And I do have negative notations about porn stars because once you show your body to the world, there is no turning back. You know how much men out there we can’t change that will hurt these women if they are in another work indrustry. And it gets even worse if they have a body count of 100 because that will bring negative connotations towards them.
i think porn is actually a huge problem because a lot of young people (and even fully-grown adults) think that this is how sex should really be. Women dont come like that usually and how men are treating women there is horrible. It just ruins the whole conception of what romance actually is. Its not just about having sex but about being intimate with someone and sharing a beautiful experience with someone you really like.
What you're arguing for is better sex education rather than a problem with porn. With sex education, which includes teaching/learning that porn is to sex what WWE is to MMA, there's no reason porn has to be damaging to anyone. Also, there's plenty of romantic/erotic porn out there aimed at women and/or couples. I'd recommend SexArt, EroticaX, Bellesa, or many of New Sensations's feature films--pretty much anything directed by Andrej Lupin, James Avalon, or Jacky St. James, and that's just a shortlist. Sex doesn't have to be romantic, though, especially in a fantasy setting. One of the most common female sexual fantasies are rape fantasies, after all.
@@jonathanhenderson9422 yes there is. You’re over stimulating. We were not meant to watch sex all the time and have sex in our lives all the time constantly (in our shows, music, ads). We are getting further away from the true intent of sex, which is intimacy and child birth (both). With this overstimulation, it’s become a way where corporations make money off of sexual addictions of the masses and it’s terrible we take such a libertarian approach to an issue that changes the fundamentals of our society and wellbeing.
@@Charcharrashelltywuiw 100% agree with you! As you can see, I'm Christian, so these are my beliefs. Sex wasn't made to have for fun all the time, or to watch. It was created for birth and intimacy of 2 people.

the blue haired girl was sure of her asexuality, the tan sweater girl seemed to have more of an aversion to it based on her experiences
The fact that some sex workers are asexual is a thought that's never crossed my mind until now & is really mind blowing tbh

its really insane that society has such a negative view on sex workers yet consume so much of their work.
This! It is a multi billion dollar industry but everyone wants to pretend that it is a stain on society by happenstance.
No it’s not. It will never b accepted. These sex “workers” made their choice to do what they do for money. Now they need to live with it.
@@poocrayon4588 exactly. they literally call themselves sluts on a daily basis, they don’t even respect themselves.
@@chocolatecuban it is. Definitely for our culture to start making it acceptable. These people in the video looked miserable. They were hiding it but they will never have the intimacy they were suppose to have and can never be fully satisfied. It’s very disheartening to see
@@Charcharrashelltywuiw They did not seem miserable. You want them to appear to be miserable to support your small world view. You have absolutely no idea whether or not they are lacking intimacy in their personal lives. Show me the evidence that supports your claim. Furthermore, billions upon billions of people consume their work. Where is your disgustfor them? Including your friends, family, co-workers, etc?
Took a dark turn with the consent talk, which strengthens the point that just because they are being filmed doesn't mean it's all consensual. That female director is absolute dirt for setting that woman up. I have a feeling I know what company it is too.
What company is it?... I’d hope to steer clear from companies that do this to these women.
the question about what’s the worst part of the job and everyone’s replies made me sad but also more aware of just how messed up society is.

@Trinity M it is.
