    Thanks Matt! I just learned my first song on guitar, I have always been a bassist, but never tried this song on it… it will be next though 😂 you have tab for it in here?… I’m sure it is played about the same way.

    Great tutorial, no complicated explanation, or bs, just clear finger positioning, and the slow mode really helps grasp the melody.

    What's the reason behind playing F-G-A completely on the E-string instead of playing the A on the 5th string open? Seems easier

    • @MAXIMUSMINIMALIST
      @MAXIMUSMINIMALIST 4 месяца назад

      Not only that but even as a beginner I know that the same note played in different positions has a slightly different sound and since everyone else is playing it with the open a string that's probably what he's doing on the record. However, I purposely do the same thing in the main riff of "of the dog" because as a beginner I want to stretch my hand out and get my pinky working to try to improve my playing ability so maybe that's why he is doing it or it's just the way he learned it.

    Why would you play 135 across the low E on the opening riff when 13 & then open(0) on the A string is a lot easier? 🤷‍♂️

    Only thing I would note 3:51 is on the 10-9-7. That part is a slide and it's further up the neck, here is a video of BTL live around 1:02 in. ruclips.net/video/_Wmz2IIB78o/видео.html
    Guitarist is further up the neck of fretboard, licklibrary has it 12 on the A and 14 on the D and 14 on the G played all at once and then slide.
