- I've been asked to post some improv with a drumtrack, so here you are. This is a short clip I cut from a longer video of me just noodling along, there is no planning or thinking involved, I just play, mistakes included. 😂😁

You're too fast ;) The magic behind using a drum computer to practice is that you can dial the tempo down in order to get the playing on beat ;) Coincidentally, I'm using my funny little friend, the BOSS DR550, to improve my timing on the e-drum right while I pause to watch the video ;) It's amazing to realize one's shabby timing when you can hear the attacks of your drum brain and the computer not syncing up correctly. Helps a lot. Still not there. The clowns and their violins are still waiting for me to be like a child again ;) Are you using an actual drum machine or are you faking the job with your laptop? ;)
Yeah, my timing is shabby lol. It's just noodling without thinking, mistakes and everything included.

FACEPALM LOL. Gen Z. RUclips. Nuff said :) Trust me on this - check out a drum computer! The BOSS DR-880 might be something for you. Tons of preset rhythms with sounds that don't make the 90s ROLAND midi gaming impression (that I love so much) and sometimes close to a real drum. There is even a guitar input that should work for bass as well, so you can record the drum and the bass together without a mixer. There are plenty of tutorials on RUclips, you will be amazed.@@hateva_on_bass
