Sometimes I’d make them just to level up a random like Udonis Haslem lol. The problem now is that 2k doesn’t use any creativity for much of there game modes, they just copy and paste shitover and over again, without adding new features, game modes. Just on this new console era, from 2k21-24- the game hasn’t changed too much. Its honestly disappointing.
I played 2 seasons in MyCareer and now I am playing MyNba and got my player lock…My NBA is waaaaaayyyyyy better Graphics and Mannerism, Game play more realistic, you can get the player to look exactly how you want him to look…Without worrying if he is going to be too slow, or looking like skin and bones just to be fast…It’s more challenging to score causing your player to have realistic attributes. They have way more options to add to your player from sneakers to accessories. Again the graphics look so much smoother and realistic on MyNba. I became hooked to player this mode.

I definitely prefer MyEra to MyCareer now. The VC and progression really took a lot of fun out of that part for me. I got kids and work to deal with, can’t grind to get to 99 anymore. So I gravitated to MyEra last year and it’s so much better imo. When I got 2k24, it was just after ASB, so I took over from the there as the Lakers. As soon as I finish my season, whoever I draft, I’m going to edit that player as myself. That way i build a player from there and progress the career that way.
Just started my own in the kobe era, my storyline is that I’m in the 2003 draft class and equal best prospect along side lebron(84ovr). Got drafted to the heat, but it’s been rough so far. Forgot how bad the heat were back then I’m the number 1 option dropping about 30 a game, the auto mated coaching staff is giving me about 40 a game. Also what I did to not muck up my own teams stats I play 8 minute quarters and have simulated minutes at 8 minute quarters. I also try to run sets as much as possible to simulate real basketball. Also the sets get the Ais involved a lot mote. Had a very though loss to the spurs had 40 on 75% shooting. The player I made is a 6’9 slashing PF. I couldn’t stop Tim Duncan on the boards.
@@oj6996 Melo went to pistons. Bosh went to heat, wade went to Chicago. Milicic went super low as he has quite a low rating. If u want more historically accurate drafting I suggest manually doing the lottery

@@J21YT There's a lot of ways to make the 2K experience better. I even find more animations and differences in gameplay by switching the quarter length, I vary from 5, 7, 8, 10, and 12. For ppl feeling the vanilla game is stale, playing with difficulty levels, sliders, camera angles, quarter lengths, and locked on settings is definitely the way to go. I've been playing 2K21 for a while now and I'm still seeing new things in the 🎮💪🏾👍🏾

I played 6 seasons on my carrière on all star difficulty and I’m a 6x time nba champion final mvp regular season mvp 5x all nba first team 4x all nba defensive team and rookie of the year and 2x time clutch player but I’m only a 80 overall 😒 now i play russell Westbrook’s career from the 2017 mvp season😌
I usually don't care about facescans I usually just build a fictional character and give them storylines I feel like it's much better than always focusing on one player
also if you trade your player you cant use them anymore because if you choose to manage all teams you literally would have to decide between other teams trades and their stuff

NBA 2K is not ideal to play Multiplayer or Online because even on an Offline mode theres a random input delay also and I know it since NBA 2K11..

What are your ur shooting settings? Do you use real life percentage at all? I’m guessing you turn off the shot metre to give the 20% boost.
I just go hof and lut player percentage on ik its not the best and most realistic but I mean its more ratings so i find it more interesting
