    Hey, thank you for sharing this! How difficult is it for a doctor who immigrates to Germany to get double nationality? How many years working in Germany does it take, and do you know what the conditions are? Tschüss

    Hello a small question please, I'm a 1st year MD student in italy, I'm studying medicine in English, and I'm learning German every summer so I by the end of my 6 years i should reach C1 level. I only need to do the FSP right (Because I have done medicine in an eu country)? Is there any other exam I should do or that's all?

    • @EutopianDoctor
      @EutopianDoctor  3 года назад +3

      That's right! You only need the proof of having at least a B2 level and then do the FSP exam. Also if you additionally speak italian you might want to consider switzerland as well. In switzerland there is no FSP exam at all, and although it's difficult to get in, speaking 2 of the 3 official languages helps.

      You can. As long as your university allows it you can do it. There are some ways of doing it. First, if your uni has erasmus program, you can do it through erasmus. Either with a hospital that has an agreement already with an university or finding the hospital by yourself. Regardless of the erasmus Programm you can always contact any department of any gran hospital and ask for a Praktikum for your PJ ( Praktisches Jahr) if the hospital agrees and so does your university you should not have any problem. Of course you will need to fill some papers with signatures from both sides and document what you do while in germany in order to prove that you were actually there.
      I myself did my 6th year in germany and it went just fine. Just ask the Dean's office about the necessary requirements.
      Have a nice day!

    Is dat our parents eligible to get public health insurance??

    • @EutopianDoctor
      @EutopianDoctor  3 года назад

      As non-germans it's difficult to say. Your insurance as a working foreigner also covers your family. That means normally Wifee and children... Difficult to say if the parents are also included if they don't have an insurance
