What a song that brings soo much emotions, joy, tears,touching hearts of both jews and nonjew like me. Great people who survived 2000 years of experience mostly in pain but passed all tests to become the greatest nation in the world. I always pray for peace for Jerusalem the eternal capital of jews and for the salvation of Israel. God JEHOVAH and our Lord protect them for ever.

though I am no jewish woman - in church we sang this song in my language, german. It has something I feel, knowing histiry - though not all its history is golden. to many bitter fails ... but I feel the pain of that uncertain situation of that blessed place, home and craddle or part of three religions, of brothers that aren't able to live in peace.
