- This fly is Old BUT should not be forgotten.
I found this in my box a couple of weeks ago not idea why I put it on but glad I did as this buzzer caught me a lot of trout that day. I think it’s simplicity and the fact it sank slowly staying in the fishing zone was the trick.
Try tying this old school buzzer and let me know how you get on!

Cracking buzzer pattern Mario 🐟🎣
Got a wee surprise last week with this one. Never fish it but now a favourite 😂
Plain and simple Mario, nice flea
As they should be IMO 🎣
Nice one and just about my tying level. Maybe. Will give it a go at Harelaw over the weekend.
Keep them simple no need to complicate it! Tried and tested flys are quite often the simplest. Tight lines 👍🎣
@@MF-Fly_Tying Cheers Mario. I’ll certainly give it a go.
Nice one again sir remember that day have the spools of copper wire for you get them dropped to you soon 👍
Cheers Neil. Will touch base when I’m back from holiday. Maybe get a wee day or night in Harelaw
Can I ask what size buzzer hook you’re using? I’m new to fly tying and have made more dry flies than anything else.
Hey I’m using size 10/12 Nymph Heavy Weight Hook for my buzzers. Fulling Mill comp heavy weight is really good
Thought you were gona burst into song there … summer buzzer happened so fast … 🎉
😂😂😂👍
